Synopsis
The series opens with a flash back to the fuedal age of Japan. Inu-yasha a Half dog demon, half human (Hanyou) has stolen the jewel known as Shikon no tama. Kikyo the women entrusted to keep this jewel safe goes after Inu-yasha and manages to seal him with her miko powers. She also has some how been injured, could it have been by Inu-yasha. As she dies she askes that the Shikon no tama be laid to rest with her body.
Back in modern times Kagome a high school student finds herself falling down the well in her back garden. But when she reaches the ground bass she continues to fall through time, back to the fuedal age.
It is 50 years since Inu-yasha was sealed away by Kikyo and some how the Shikon no tama has returned to the fuedal age inside Kagomes body.
How has the Shikon no tama come back?, What is the true power of this jewel?, why did Inu-yasha want it and why does it need protecting?, Why does Kikyo hate Inu-yasha so much?. Is Kagome some how connected to this world and why? find out the answers to these questions by watching INU-YASHA!!
