| Mt. Saint Helens summit |
| Located in the Cascade mountain range of Washington, Mt. Saint Helens National Monument offers a unique hiking experience. Plant life has made tremendous recovery in the blast area. Climb is difficult due to all the ash and large boulders on the trail, but one can do it without any hiking equipment. From the top there are views down into the crater area which is still very active. Mount Saint Helens is Near the city of Kelso Washington. |
