67 degrees and sunny, the weather doesn't get any better for biking than this!
I went exploring and took Highway 17 north towards San Jose from Santa Cruz and I came across this fantastic trail.  Not sure exactly how long it is, I spent the day riding it and didn't make it the entire length.  Single track through meadows and forest areas, nothing extremely technical.   If you know the name of this trail please email me and let me know.

Big Sur National Park
Big Sur is located in the Los Padres National Forest on the central coast of California.  As you take the scenic drive along the coastline be sure to stop at the State Park areas and see the beautiful hikes.  I have been hiking in the following two areas:  Julia Pfeiffer Burns and Molera State Parks.
At Molera State Park you can take a hike to the top of a ridge overlooking a grove of coastal redwood forest on one side.  On the other side you can see a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean.  Try to time it so that you reach the summit at sunset.
At Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park you can see forest, a waterfall and the ocean.  If you go to California do not miss Big Sur it is a must see.
