| 1/6 More Linkin Park..... | ||||||||||||||||||||
| Time is a valuable thing, Watch it fly by as the pendulum swings, Watch it count down to the end of the day, The clock ticks life away, It's so unreal, Didn't look out below, Watch the time go right out the window, Trying to hold on, but didn't even know, Wasted it all I kept everything inside and even though I tried it all fell apart, What it meant to me will eventually be a memory of a time when I tried so hard, And got so far, But in the end, It doesn't even matter, I had to fall To lose it all, But in the end, It doesn't even matter In spite of the way you were mocking me, Acting like I was part of your property, Remembering all the times you fought with me, I'm surprised it got so far, Things aren't the way they were before, You wouldn't even recognize me anymore, Not that you knew me back then, But it all comes back to me In the end - Linkin Park "In the End" |

| Moon sits in the sky in the dark night, Shining with the light from the sun, The sun doesn't give light to the moon assuming The moon's going to owe it one, It makes me think of how you act to me, You do Favors and then rapidly, You just Turn around and start asking me about Things you want back from me Maybe someday I'll be just like you and Step on people like you do and Run Away the people I thought I knew, I remember back then who you were, You used to be calm, used to be strong, Used to be generous but you should've known That you'd Wear out your welcome, now you see How quiet it is all alone, I'm so Sick of the tension, sick of the hunger, Sick of you acting like I owe you this, Find another place to feed your greed - While I find a place to rest - Linkin Park "Place for My Head" |

| I've lied to you, The same way that I always do, This is the last smile That I'll fake for the sake of being with you Everything falls apart, Even the people who never frown Eventually break down The sacrifice is never knowing: Why I never walked away, Why I played myself this way Now I see your testing me pushes me away I've tried like you, To do everything you wanted too, This is the last time, I'll take the blame for the sake of being with you - Linkin Park "Pushing Me Away" |

| 1/10 Something I ripped off from friend's profile, the question is, will big-headed Asian man notice? | ||||||||||||||||||||
| What ever happened to 'good conquers evil'? Why is it that this wonderful theory always coexists with the term, 'ideal'? Ideal, being something wanted, but unattainable. Is the principle of light bringing an end to the dark only the stuff in movies and books? Even dreams are becoming more 'realistic,' where sometimes good never prevails, or only succeeds on a limited basis. Can the idea of a good person finding true happiness prevail in this 'realistic' existence that we have all come to live? If the answer is no, I hope never to find out, because yes is all that I live for. | ||||||||||||||||||||
| 1/10 Quotes from the news.... | ||||||||||||||||||||
| "America has the military capability so there is no safe haven anywhere," Gadhafi said in an interview published in Sunday's Washington Post. The Libyans know what happens when you mess with the US. "We don't know who poses a greater threat - the American president or Saddam Hussein." Go Moammar, go Moammar. Now if we could just get Tony Blair to say the same thing..... |

| I am better off than he is for he knows nothing, and thinks that he knows; I neither know nor think that I know. - Socrates, Plato's Apology | ||||||||||||||||||||
| 3/3 More philosophy... | ||||||||||||||||||||
| But this undertaking is arduous, and a certain indolence insensibly leads me back to my ordinary course of life; and just as the captive, who, perchance, was enjoying in his dreams an imaginary liberty, when he begins to suspect that it is but a vision, dreads awakening, and conspires with the agreeable illusions that the deception may be prolonged; so I, of my own accord, fall back into the train of my former beliefs, and fear to arouse myself from my slumber, lest the time of laborious wakefulness that would succeed this quiet rest, in place of bringing any light of day, should prove inadequate to dispel the darkness that will arise from the difficulties that have now been raised. - Rene Descartes, Meditation I | ||||||||||||||||||||

| Love thrives on inextinguishable pain, Which tears the soul, then knits the threads again, A mote of love exceeds all bounds; it gives the vital essence to whatever lives. But where love thrives, there pain is always found; - Faridoddin Attar, The Conference of the Birds |
