Tasin planned on going christmas shopping for his family one day at the neighborhood shopping center. He hardly ever shops there because of the gangs that always hang out around that area. But since it was getting late he had no other choice. On the way to the shopping center Tasin thought about how much he really didnt want to go there but since he had no other choice he was going to make the best of what he had and just hurrying up so he could get his stuff and leave. While Tasin was shopping for his gifts a girl that worked in the store kept eyeing him the whole time he was in there, he noticed her watching him but he just kept minding his business and picking-out his stuff. Then he went to the register for he to ring up his things, and the girl,Sherry, started flirting with him. So after Sherry was done ringing him up she gave him her number and told him to use it sometime, as he walked out smiling at her, Sherry's boyfriend Ronald came in the store with a nasty look on his face as if he knew something was up, as Ronald walked pass Tasin he bumped into him and told him to watch his-self,(Her boyfriend is the leader of the Crips around their area) Tasin said,"yo just watch where you walkin' B ", then he just continued walking out, while her boyfriend Dex starting yelling at her. While Tasin went to finish doing his shopping he thought about how stupid that whole conflict in the store was. Finally about an hour later he was done shopping so he decided to go home. When Tasin got outside the mall there was Ronald and all of his other friends, Ronald said to his friends, "yo there go the boy that was tryin to talk to Sherry", one of his friends stepped to Tasin and said, " Don't be F*ckin' wit my mans girl or we gon have to fix your sh!t n*!@#". Tasin laughed at them and just walked away. Then suddenly Ronald pulled out a gun and shot Tasin in the back, he fell to the floor and laid dead. Ronald and his friends ran off. By the time the mall security called an ambulance it was to late Tasin had long died. When his family and girlfriend found out they were in shock, there holiday season was ruined due to his tragic death. Ingornant young kids now a days who join gangs that kill and fight people for stupid reasons need to find a sense of direction to do the right things, Gang Violence talks about these type of things.
