Wow, after reading
some of these biographies I feel like I should run out and do something
extremely exciting to make people even want to read this! I didn't make
it to the 10 year reunion because I had just started a new job.
Since then I have not lived overseas or held a job in another country, I
have not worked for the President or with any famous people, but I have
had 2 wonderful children who keep me busy and keep me laughing.
They have truly taught me to look at each day as an adventure as I get
older! I have been married to the same wonderful man for 14 years,
which in this day and age is not commonplace so I consider myself lucky.
As for my career, I was fortunate enough to land a job as a product
consultant that allows me to work from home and be with my kids every
day. I work full time, which gets to be a lot while trying to take care
of two kids and all the activities that go with them, but I truly enjoy
the "extra" time I have been given to watch my children grow. I am sure
my kids won't always enjoy the fact that Mom is home to monitor their
every move, I hear the teenage years are interesting and they are just
around the corner - am I scared - Yeah! I'm sure most of you are saying
why would anyone in their right mind want to live in ND...I just can't
seem to get away from this state for some reason! We lived in the
beautiful state of Wisconsin for 12 years, but always missed having
family close by. In March my husband got offered a great job in
Bismarck, ND,
which is near where he grew up so we
decided it was time to move on. It was difficult leaving our close
friends behind, but I have to admit it has been terrific to be near
family again. We are planning on building a new house in 2 years so that
will take up some of our time. Otherwise in our spare time after
baseball, basketball, volleyball, track etc, we enjoy getting out on the
beautiful Missouri River
and the lakes for some tubing
and fishing etc. I am looking forward to vacations in the mountains now
that we live so close, as well as taking advantage of Grandma & Grampa
being available to baby-sit so Greg & I can get away on a nice vacation
sometime(s). |

Many, many fun
times - The DRIVE-IN, Stubs, bribing a wonderful teacher with doughnuts
so we could go shopping at the mall during class time, driving around in
"the hearse", trips to Glenwood with DL in her convertible, boating &
other adventures on the lakes, finding creative ways to get back into
school after sneaking out for lunch when the security guards patrolled
the halls, Hanging out at Hardee's until I got a job there :0( , Red Wing
baseball players, homeroom in the "outhouses", where did that
school fire extinguisher go????, Carlos State Park, football & hockey,
New Munich Ballroom, there are so many more (some I can't mention because
my Mom works with Joe...) One pre high school memory....The
swimsuits and swim caps at Central Jr High for school swimming lessons
