Name: Denise Larson
Spouse: None yet!
Children: N/A
City/State: San Francisco, CA
Email: [email protected]
Occupation: Event Planner
Bio: Quite a lot, actually!  I was working for the SF Giants in Group Sales in '97, (which I loved!) and started getting more and more into acting; taking acting and improv classes and performing in children's theatre.  I was an extra on several movies filmed here in the Bay Area, including 3 years on the television show "Nash Bridges". I met a photographer who asked me to housesit while he filmed a Bruce Willis film in Prague. One month later, I'm living in LA, not knowing a soul, but loving every minute of it!  I took improv classes, was in a theatre company, performed in a weekly improv troupe, did independent films, student projects, reality shows, dating shows ("Blind Date", "Fifth Wheel") and game shows. I was one of Matthew Broderick's friends in "The Last Shot", an extra in "Austin Powers III", and a regular extra on "Young and the Restless". Anything to be discovered! It was a lot of fun at the time and always crazy-exciting, but a very hard life. Working 7 days a week with 3 PT jobs is wearing enough, let alone adding all of the acting gigs. So after 5 long years, it was time to leave. I met a great guy, followed him to Dallas, but am solo once again in beautiful San Francisco. For you movie buffs: Two of the most not-so-nice people I have ever met were Don Johnson and Jennifer Lopez. Two of the nicest people I've spoken with were Cheech Marin and Bernie Mac. In terms of a family, well,.. that is the part of my life I am really trying to focus on right now. I haven't met my true prince but I'm enjoying dating. Being single isn't my ideal but it IS my reality and you just have to have fun with it and get out and enjoy life. I've even entered the world of internet dating. You have to take that with a grain of salt, and again,.. just have fun with it. But it sure has given me many funny stories to share!! My biggest disappointment (since the last reunion) would have to be auditioning for the movie "8 Mile" (with Eminem) and not getting the part of his ex-girlfriend. Rejection is just tough to take in LA. But the best thing that has happened to me (since high school) was standing up for my twin brother at his wedding. It was one of the most exciting days I've ever had. I'm sure he has no idea and would never believe me anyways! I may not be able to attend the reunion, so for those who are, have a great time and enjoy!!
