| Bio: |
Went to grad school (in Scotland), and
Law School (in DC); worked for Clinton's Press Secretary and got bit by
his dog, Buddy; was a Corporate/M&A lawyer at Fredrikson & Byron in
Minneapolis for a handful of years until I grew tired of working for the
man; quit, rented out my house, loaned out my dog (to Shelly Haase
Moland), and moved to Rio de Janiero, Brazil for a year; took an
apartment on Ipanema Beach, learned some Portuguese, surfed, found (and
lost) the girl from Ipanema; traveled around
South America and South Africa;
returned and joined some DC friends
working for John Kerry for a year plus; went back to
Brazil for a couple of months
post-election; returned to Minneapolis and started working as a
technology lawyer for Wells Fargo Bank; now back in my house, near
Lake Calhoun, where my old
golden, Buck, swims as often as he can and I run as often as I'm made
to; travel whenever I can, mostly to visit friends in
Brazil and the U.K.; going to
Ghana in October to take
statements, for the Liberian Truth & Reconciliation Commission, of
Liberians living in a refugee camp near Accra. |
