I'm not as quiet and shy as I was in
high school, thanks to St. Cloud State University. I graduated with a
teaching degree in English and, oddly enough, taught 10th grade English
at our very own Jefferson High School for seven years, right down the
hall from Ms. McCarty. Even though she was now my colleague, she still
intimidated me. I then moved on up to teach English and Philosophy at
the Alexandria Technical college. I'm starting my ninth year there
already, where classmates Kellie Tatge and Eric Karlstad also work!
Personally, I'm happily married and my "child" is an eleven year old
yellow lab, Kasey. I LOVE to travel! Favorite trips include a tour of
Italy, Paris, London, New York, Washington DC and Chicago. On the
horizon...El Salvador, to visit a college friend. Life is good! |
