Allison McAndrew and Troy Calkins exchanged wedding vows on July 16, 2005 in St. James Church, Jamestown. Father Robert Stolinski presided over the ceremony. Music was provided by Cathy Gagliano, soloist and organist.
The bride is the daughter of Michael and Karen McAndrew of Jamestown. She is the granddaughter of James and Lillian Beasley of Jamestown and Alice McAndrew of Durham, North Carolina. Her husband is the son of Ryan and Debora Calkins of Greenhurst and the grandson of Angeline Monfort of Jamestown.
The bride wore a strapless A-line gown. The bodice was detailed with Swarvoski crystals.
Michelle McAndrew, sister of the bride, and Kristen Anderson were maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Megan Benson, Cynthia Bonner, Alexandra Calkins, sister of the groom, Christine Chase, Colleen Malysza, cousin of the bride, and Lindsey Wilhelm. Flower girl was Jessica Howard, cousin of the bride.
Ryan Calkins, brother of the groom was best man. Groomsmen were Jacob Berg, Timothy Malysza, cousin of the bride, Scott Melquist, Christopher Patric, Brian Phillips, cousin of the groom, Michael Pudjak and Matthew Wendelboe.
Masters and mistresses of ceremony were Paul and Nan Malysza, uncle and aunt of the bride and Brian and Michele Phillips, uncle and aunt of the groom.
The bride is a 1997 graduate of Jamestown High School, a 2001 graduate of the University of Buffalo with a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and a 2004 graduate of St. John�s University School of Law. She is employed as an attorney at the law firm of Sedgwick, Detert, Moran & Arnold. The groom is a 1997 graduate of Jamestown High School and a 2001 graduate of the University of Buffalo with a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering. He is employed as a civil engineer by Bechtel Corporation.
The couple honeymooned in Tahiti and Napa Valley, California.
They reside in Manhattan.
