A Message from the Creators of
the JHS Class of '99 web page

Hello friends and classmates,

Several months ago, Thomas Goodwin, Kyle Lewis, and Nathan Rhea from the class of '99 decided that we could use our skills with HTML and Java to help each other out with our web pages. It started one night when Kyle needed help with his page, we all got together and realized that it was much easier to work on the web as a group rather than trying to do everything by ourselves.

Now, we have started a new project that will make keeping in touch a little easier. This project started with the creation of the Class of '99 homepage which Thomas started at the end of our senior year, as a list of colleges people were going to attend. We decided that it was time to expand on his idea and make a web site totally devoted to the JHS Class of '99.

You may wonder, "Why would you spend so much time working on this thing?"

We are on the edge of the 21st century, thus we should no longer lose contact with old friends simply because of distance. The internet gives us a chance to keep in touch no matter how far apart we are and at very little cost. We have the technology to keep in touch using computers and the internet. Now we have a challenge for you.

We have spent time on this site, now it is time for you to use it. We are giving you the means to stay in touch easily and cheaply, whether you have access to email at home, work, or simply the library. We hope that you find our creation useful. Remember, this page is for you!

Our goal is to continue adding to the site as we update it. We have added an mp3 music file of our class song, Tuesday's Gone by Lynrd Skynrd, that you can download and play on your computer. Also we eliminated the rather large table of graduates and colleges attending and we are creating personal profile pages for each person on the website. The guestbook and message board were added as a way to communicate what you are doing now with your classmates.

Continually adding pictures and keeping up with as many graduates as possible is always a top priority for this site! And now without further ado we present The Class of 1999's Homepage.

Take care and keep in touch,

Co-Webmasters, Jackson High School Class of 1999's Website
