A Reflection of 9/11

September 11th was very horrible day. It was a day when America was attacked. The Twin Towers and the Pentagon were hit by airplanes. The two towers were completely destoryed and many lives were lost. This awful attack on America was meant to tear America apart. But it made Americans united and proud of their country.

I think this day will always be remembered. Everytime you look at the New York City skyline, you will be reminded of it. You will remember the people who went to work that day and not knowing this would happen to them, the people on one of the airplanes that stopped another attack from occuring, the fire fighters and policemen that went inside the towers to try to save people's lives, the people who cleaned the rumble and the local people who provided food and water. And we will always remember how America came together and fought back aganist terorrism.

Those are the things come to my head when I think about that day. I feel sorrow for the people who lost love ones in those attacks. But at the sametime I feel happines. The way the country came togteher and fought back makes me feel this way.

I always thought that America was an unstoppable country. That it couldn't be hurt. Always thought that it was kind a like a big bully. No one would dare to say anything to us or hit us. But September 11th proved me wrong. These attacks have changed my point of view. Now I see that even though I live in America, these things do happen. I see that we are not the most powerful or smartest country.

This attack has affected the nation. The economy has been going down. There are many people without jobs.

September 11th is a day that has affected many people's lives. I could say that I will never forget it. I was in my classroom and I could see the two towers in flames. Those images are locked in my memory.
