I THANK YOU
What can I say, but Thank you. Thank you for believing in me, when I didn't think I could do it. I remember coming into your College English Class thinking I couldn't write. But you believed in me. So, I believed in myself that I could write well. You inspired me to write. I would stay up late at night thinking of stories just to see a smile on your face. I knew my spelling was nothing special but you still believed in me. You told me it would get better in time and when I got teased about it you stood up for me. So, I thank you for helping me.
How can I say good- bye to someone who has inspired me to dream, to create characters I never thought I could. Your dedication has not been unseen by me or your class'. You have worked very hard and any studient who has you is lucky to be in your class. You are a hard working, dedicated, passionate, caring teacher. There are very few of you out there.
I know that I will not meet many teachers like you in college, maybe none but I thank my lucky stars that in my life I met someone who loves to teach. I see it in the way you talk and hold yourself that you love what you do. I know sometimes you didn't think you could make it. Sometimes you lost some hope, but look at you. You made it! You are a leader. When people didn't stand by you, you still continued to go for your dreams.
Thank you Ms.Mayo for helping me learn that if I put the hard work in, I will do well. That if I believe in myself, I can do anything . Many people have a hard time learning that in life. But you showed me that and all I can say is that I am very blessed.
I wish you the best of luck with this program. You have done a wonderful job. Keep it up! Don't let anyone hold you back.
