The book "The Color of Water" talks mainly about people of different cultures and there backgrounds. The book also discuss how different races weren't accepted into many places because of there identity and who they are. Ruchel Dwajra Zylska a girl who grew up in as an orthodox jew in Poland. Ruchel was born and raised in the south. There ruchel lived with her parent's. Ruchel had it hard as a child. Rachel didn't like where she lived so she ran away to live in Harlem. There in Harlem this is where rachel meet and married a black guy. While married rachel had and raised twelve children. Rachel was twice because her first husband died. Rachel and her kids lived a very religious life every sunday they went to church. Rachel was a very strange lady she never talked to her children about her past life even before she got married. |
