Response to the book Always Running
For my final in English class I have told to chose a favorite book that I have read on this term and review it. So I chose the book "Always Running" about Rodriquez family and how they moveded around place to place. The book was pretty interesting and realistic. I ejoyed reading that book Always Running so much. The reason why I liked the book is, because it is so realistic and that is what is going on today in our society. Everyday when we wake up from our bed we don't know excatly what is going to happen to us, we don't know if we are going to alive by the time we get home. Like Rodriguez family we all are moving place to place just to find ourselves an substancial living. This is where the writer showed the reality, real world where we live.
We make mistake in our life, but there are some certain mistake that we make and can't get out from there. Now days we are loosing our family values, sometimes we don't even know who is our parents. And if we do know who is our parents than sometimes they are not eligable to take care of us the way they should. So pretty often we see in the newspaper or on the T.V. that police found bunch of guns or bombs and they have arrested the gangs. Eighter it is our neithbor, our frieds or we are so depressed for some reason. And at that right moment we find some friends telling us that if we join the gang we can have fun together and earn some quick money in very sort time. We don't really realize that what are we going through, and also we don't really listen to our parents either. But after pretty while when we realize that it is too late to turn ourselves back to what it was.
My point is before we take the step we should atleast think not only onece several time. Because when it is too late there won't be only few ways that will be left for you. Let us be careful from now on, we should start learning how to get together in family life and have some fun without putting ourselvrs in trouble. And we should always remember that our parents want good for us not bad, so we have to learn not to hurt them either. That is what I have learned from this book and in my opinion everyone should read this book just to have one more experience in their lives.
