Kirby 64 has an interesting playing style, similar to Disney's Tarzan. It is not 3-d yet manages to pull off the look of three dimensions by providing depth in the backgrounds and 3-d scenery. Kirbys goal in this game is to collect the six shards of Ripple Star's precious crystal, scattered over six planets which our hero will traverse in his quest. Like in many of the other kirby games, one of the unique aspects is kirbys ability to swallow and absorb enemys powers. Often enough kirby will be forced to find certain enemies to swallow to meet his goals. The multiplayer part of this game is very similar to mario party in that 4 players compete in minigames that are fairly simple but provide good entertainment when multiple gamers are playing. |
