About Me
Hi my name is JD Peoples, I am origionally from Peoria Illinois, and now live in North Alabama, I am an outdoorsman, spending most of my idle time hunting, fishing, and my number one passion is collecting indian artifacts. I started at the age of six while fishing along the Illinois river with my parents, The fish couldnt hold my attention so I began my trek along the banks to find more interesting quary. While watching a turtle swim near the banks I noticed something protruding from the banks. Upon closer examination I discovered a cache of "Wadlow" blades deposited in the roots of a tree which had become a victom of a recent flood. They were stacked three on the bottom, two on top and one on top for a total of six. A seventh was laying about two feet away to the left.
I retrived them and showed them to my brother (who was a year my senior) and we decided they would be neat to use as swords.MY mother heard the noise and came to rescue them. Thanks mom.
The longest is exactally 8" long and the shortest is 5 3/4" long it was broken prior to my finding them.
