The Articles of Association


Preamble

We the member of the ATP, in order to form a more perfect association, establish score, insure tranquility in every game, provide new balls, vanish the gap between players, and secure the blessings of cheap beer to ourselves and our unsobriety, do ordain and establish the Articles for the Austin Tennis Players.

Article I

We only have a Chairman as our sole power servant. He can do everything what he want.

Article II

The executive power shall be vested in a Chairman of the Austin Tennis Players. He shall hold his title till he die. No one can deny it.

Article III

We don't have anything like judge or lineman. That's it!

Article IV

Full faith and credit shall be given in each member to the payment for losing game.

Article V

The webmaster, whenever two thirds of members shall deem it necessary, shall propose amendments to the articles.

Article VI

I am not sure whether these articles are valid or not.

Amendment I

Members shall make no atmosphere respecting good players, or prohibiting the free exercise therefore; or abridging the freedom of grunt, or of cheating little bit for call; or the right of the member peaceably to match, and to appeal the chairman.

Amendment II

The right of the member to keep and bear rackets shall not be infringed.

Amendment III

No member shall be absent from every meeting.
