Course Description
This short course will cover the following:
week 1 - an introduction to the computer covering such things as hardware, software, operating systems, and accessibility options for impaired students.week 2 - Altering the 'Desktop' (wallpaper, screensaver, icons, time and date)
week 3 - Using a scanner, Saving file to disk & CD, moving to floppy
week 4 - File Management (Windows Explorer, making & customising folders, printing (amending printer settings)
week 5 - Adding additional hardware, Installing/removing programs, F1 'Help'

This course is suitable for beginners.
What will be expected of me?
Regular attendance.
What could I do after this course?
Enrol on a NICAS (eDCC) cpurse leading to a qualification.
