Strawman is a band I heard for the first time a year or two ago. They blend metal, hardcore, punk, and funk into songs which have meaningful lyrics, catchy riffs and an overall clean sound.  I highly recommend catching one of their shows or picking up one of their albums, which are available on thier website. you won't be disappointed.
