| John's New York City adventure |
| The trip started out the sunday before Thanksgiving of 2001 with only Abby, Uncle Bill and myself. We set out like explorers looking for adventures in lands we had never seen. We started out by taking the long way to New York. We visited Presque Ille Provincial Park, Montreal, and the White mountains of Vermont. |

| We took our adventure onto the Long Trail and the Appalachian Trail in Vermont. We found a cool overnight resting area and a serene lake along the trail. We were having a great time without a worry in the world. |

| On the fourth day we met up with the rest of my family. For them the adventure was just begining. As for us, We were just starting another chapter. |
