Now, what shall I tell u about myself? It's kind of tricky, really. I don't want to come across as egocentric. Yet, I don't want to sound vague..hmm..
Ok, guess I should start with where I hail from. I was born & raised in Singapore. It was at the age of 20 that I finally left home to pursue university studies in Western Australia. I graduated in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications Studies. My major was in Media Production. Basically, everything from film to radio production. I had a great time learning all the technical stuff but at the end of my studies, I came to the realisation that media isn't my calling.
I decided to embark on further studies in 1999, a year after my daughter's birth. This time, I'm in the midst of a Bachelor of Arts in Politics & International Studies with a double major in Asian Studies. I hope to establish a career in the foreign affairs field as a diplomat. If not, I certainly hope that my future career would provide me with the opportunities to work overseas.
About my family...well, my folks are still back in Singapore. And they have no intentions to join me in Australia. :)
As for my friends, I must say that those who are closest to me are friends I've known in school. But that's not to say that friends with whom I've been writing over the years aren't considered my close friends.
And through the wonders of email, I've managed to find more friends who hold the promise of more life-long friendships.

I enjoy books from the horror, thriller/suspense & fantasy genres. Some of my favourite books are written by Katherine Kerr, Mike Jeffries, Anne McCaffrey, and Tom Clancy.
As for movies, I enjoy films that fall within the action, horror, thriller & martial arts genres. My current favourites are
X-Men & MI2.
My music preferences lie toward current music...preferably the top of the charts type. So long as they have a strong dance beat to it & is easy on the ears, I'm quite happy to listen to it.
