Biography

Mr. Jamal Hashemi was born in Arak, Iran in 1940. He got his BS degree in Electrical Engineering 1965. He worked for Industry in USA for 5 years and got his MS degree in Electrical engineering from State University of Iowa. His professional work includes Planning and Budgeting and appraisal in flied of Energy i.e.; Electrical Power Plans and Network, Natural Gas, Oil, Nuclear, new and renewable sources of Energy. He has traveled to 20 countries and attended conferences, seminars and workshops related to Energy. He also presented papers in those fields. Mr. Hashemi's passion and interest for writing motivated him to start writing since he was student. He started his career as editor in publication of student associations in 1960s. Up to now he has written about 100 articles in Economics, Planning, Politics, Social Affairs, History, Literature, Psychology, etc. Now he is conducting seminars in self improvement and self realization. His interest in Psychology, Ethics and Literature manifested itself in writing several books, which traces modern Psychologies, findings in old Persian Literature (For more information, please refer to Publication page). Besides that, he has translated several books in psychology and self improvement from English to Persian. These books are helpful for those Iranians who seek self improvement, and also those Iranian immigrants in USA and other countries who seek psychological help and attend workshops, but have problems with the language of the country of their residence (For more information, please refer to Publication page).
