| Tharmuris is a very strong and independent nation, putting more emphasis on military might than any other nation in the world. The country sits on Caerden's eastern side, and is well defended against its enemies. Dalurzem, the capital of Tharmuris, is a strong, thriving city where Torturos, the Pale King, rests in his throne and Haltheand, the Master of Arms of Tharmuris, leads the armies of Tharmuris. Hierarchy, order, and discipline rule the country, and the citizens tend to have no problem with this. Lyondris, god of discipline and battle, holds sway over all of Tharmuris, being more influential in this nation than anywhere else in the world. By contrast, Braerikos, the City of the Great, is a very chaotic city set within Tharmuris, and breaks the norm at every opportunity set down by the rest of the nation. Ruled over by Archdutchess Xuanthain, the Archdutchess is very lax in her ruling and rarely, in the public's opinion, does anything of good. Known as the City of the Great, Braerikos does not gain its title by the splendor of the city, for it has many great faults. It gains its title from the residents of the city - many heroes and villains of great power dwell in this metropolis. |
