| Like all elves, the citizens of Ragyrinthis are convinced they live in the grandest of the mortal realms. However, those who visit this elven kingdom rarely leave believing there is a place with any more splendor. The land itself gives off such an exquisite bliss that humans often say that spending too much time in Ragyrinthis will put one in a state of constant euphoria. Magics of all kinds dwell in this realm, from the magic of the soul to that of the mind. The arts of war are practiced, but rarely tested. Among the elven realms, Ragyrinthis is the most hospitable to outsiders, as long as no harm falls upon anything of the elves. The Ragyrinthis royal family has ruled justly for many centuries, only briefly interrupted 16 years ago during a coup. Queen Lherana of the Shenhaerimys family, Ragyrinthis�s royal family, leads her realm nobly with her family and friends. When King Cornethius was murdered during the Night of Inferno, Queen Lherana was forced to take complete control, and Dordimar, Ragyrinthis�s capital, quickly rebuilt. The realm�s government is one of the least corrupt among the nations of Aldreia. Dordimar, capital city of Ragyrinthis, is a splendid city built among collosal trees. Here, as some adventurers have described it, even the impoverished look and act as though they were of the nobility. The Ruby Citadel, a giant and rare rubywood tree, homes the Shenhaerimys family, and looks upon the entire city of Ragyrinthis. Kaz'elrine, the Sylvan city, is another great city within Ragyrinthis, and built of nature. Few and centaurs are as common as elves in this city. All of the Sylvan city is made of wood, but never has a tree been harmed in the process of making the city. The trees are grown and shaped into buildings, great and astonishing trees that home the people. Many homes in Dordimar are like this, but none to the extent of those in Kaz'elrine. |
