Miscellaneous Deities
Diemetheus
God of Kings, Final Judgement, Keeper of the Timeless
LN Judge of the Dead
Domains: Healing, Protection, Judgement

Diemetheus controls Afterlife, his citadel perching at the entrance to the realm of Afterlife.  Diemetheus judges people on both their lives and their present thoughts, and occasionally will alter a persons experience in the Afterlife based on their new personality. Diemetheuss symbol is a skull with an obsidian crown and his favored weapon is the longspear.

Diemetheus during his life as a man was known for fairness.  When Bandor decided that he needed a better place for the souls of the dead to go than back to Aldreia, he needed a person to judge the dead.  Diemetheus was an obvious choice.  Diemetheus appears as a tall man with golden skin, a black breastplate of bronze, and long dark hair.  He always carries his spear, although none can remember when he last wielded it in battle.

Dogma
Diemetheus teaches that true deeds are rewarded and foul deeds are punished .  Death comes to all, no matter how long their life, so they must live well.  People should merciful and not quick to kill, for life is the most precious of assets.  He encourages people not to judge a person based on their past, but on their hearts.

Clergy and Temples
Most people pay some form of homage to the God of Kings, for he is likely to be the first deity theyll ever meet.  Judges often look to him for guidance, and people who are redeeming themselves look for his mercy.  His actual clergy is few, but they tend to be wise and just.  The warriors of Diemetheus often stop fights or hunt those avoiding death.  Diemetheuss temples are rare, but most cities have a shrine to the Keeper of the Timeless.

Lady of Shadows
Domains: War, Knowledge, Death
Portfolio: Neutrality, balance, war, peace
Worshippers: Acolytes of the middle path, warriors, etc
Alignment: Nuetral
Favored Weapon: Katana
Holy Symbol: Standard double edged sword crossed by a katana

Temples and Clergy
There are several different versions of the LOSs temples, each corresponding to her various facets. While they are all similar, they are also often at war with each other. Lawful and Chaotic, and Good and Evil sects respectively constantly make war on each other, while the Neutral sect watches on, usually with amusement. This two is part of her ideal, they say. All sects maintain some form of fort or temple, though often the Chaotic sects is just a clearing in the woods, the Lawful Sect prides itself on its powerful forts and keen sense of honor. All clerics wear red and white hooded robes with their holy symbols prominently displayed.

Dogma
The Lady of Shadows is a firm believer in a balance of power in Aldreia, not just among the gods, but the people as well. She has been known to side with any and all sides in Godswars, and expects for her truly devoted priests to do the same. Naturally, only the most devoted priests do this. She and her followers have caused many problems in both war and peace in the interest of maintaining the balance of power in the mulitverse. The Lady of Shadows is unique among gods, as her tendency to change sides, and even to abandon her own people in her pursuit of balance has left her with few priests and even fewer allies. There is however one standard all her priests are expected to follow, theey must under penalty of expulsion from the ranks of her priests keep any promise, vow or oath they make. It is therefore incredibly hard to get any priest of the Lady to make any oath, except the vows of their order.

Appearance
The Lady of Shadows appears to mortals most often as a warrior woman some time past her twentieth year. She has fiery red hair, and her eyes are filled with fire. Indeed her eyes are the only clue that she is not mortal, as she will quite happily fall down and apparently bleed to death after losing a battle with an honorable foe. She is never beautiful, but her avatar is often described as strong, free, subtle,  and sometimes, for unknown reasons wicked. She is also said to have the most beautiful voice, deep for a woman, but high for a man, soothing the type that lends itself to be heard and listened too.

She is also often accused by her priests of having a rather off putting sense of humor, leaning toward the morbid and sarcastic. A few of her priests who mildly upset her, found that every spell they prepared was reversed, with disastrous results. Another man, who stole a few coins from her offering plate, found his sword had all the stiffness of a well tanned piece of leather of equal thickness. These of course are extreme cases.

Arlia
Goddess of Prisons.  Arlia is the sister of Yrthrak, and the previous leader of the Pantheon of War.  She was a powerful force in Nir, and when Vaygor searched for a way to control his empire prior to the second Aelthiurian War, Arlia helped him and increased his power to near godly caliber.  She helped him fight through battle after battle, and many people say that she fought by his side, a demon and an emperor.  However, she betrayed many other powerful gods when she led him into attacking their chosen people.  After Vaygor was slain, the other deities rallied against Arlia, Dyaramis, her former lover, first among them.  Arlia begged for her life from Dyaramis, so Dyaramis spared her but stripped her of her power and banished her to the Prison of the Gods.  Now, she is the goddess of prisons and prisoners, and it is said that luck is brought to prisoners who worship her.  Most people, however, believe this is all superstition and that her powers are completely nullified.

The Gatekeeper
Not truly a deity, but has enough power to be counted as one, the Gatekeeper is an extraordinary creature that guards the gate out of Nir and into the multiverses beyond.  The gate is the only way into Nir, and the Gatekeeper keeps it sealed.
