| Capital: Urzan A plutocracy is a government ruled by the people who hold the wealth of the government. Most often, this money is passed through a noble family, so it is very similar to an oligarchy. Sometimes a person is able to amass a large amount of money and become a part of the government, but this is rare. The Plutocracy of Nimhyar is the only real plutocratic nation in Aldreia, and is run by twelve wealthy nobles. Nimhyar is a very old country, having lived through many aeons. The distance in wealth between the rich and the poor has long been very great in Nimhyar, for the nobles own such a large portion of the coins that even the richest of the poor live in slums. However, that is now changing due to the Wazengrel family. The Wazengrels have learned the art of making money by sharing it, something that the other nobles, having inherited their money, do not know of. They have split their money among the poor, both increasing the money of the poor and their own. At the present date, the Wazengrel�s have more wealth than all of the other eleven noble families combined, own more than three quarters of the plutocracy, and have increased the value of living by all inhabitants of Nimhyar immensely. |
