The city has two main entrances, one on each side of the river. A third, smaller entrance leads into the military district of the city, so is rarely used by travellers. Three bridges cross the river, the northernmost being Artas's bridge and the most commonly used. Artas's bridge is actually fairly new, for it replaced an older bridge known as 'Wanderer's Crossing' which was old and outdated. The most extravagant bridge remains Platinum Bridge, which connects the noble's section, Platinum Stage, to the far side of the city. Finally, some people are given the option of passing through Eari'Arkala Citadel itself upon the magical water bridges. These bridges are created from magic that rises the water and makes it possible to be walked upon. Both of these bridges can be dispelled within the Citadel, further adding to the Citadel's defense.
