| A group of secretive men and women who search not for fame and glory, nor gold or power. They search for Justice. Many have had many wrongs be flung upon them and yet their resilient spirits have not only let them first recieve justice, but wish to give justice to all. They act in the darkness, they wish not to have recognition. They simply have a driving urge to give those who are unfortunate a chance to live. They are of unspeakable Kindness and wish for nothing in return for their services. It's almsot supernatural how they tend to do for good and never give up hope. They have few bases throughout cities. They prowl the streets at nights, much like guardian Angels, watching over those who are forced upon the streets at nights. Many taverns and Inn's support the Arbiter's but as these men and women are not part of the guard or military, and are a more independent organization they get no pay or special benefits. Their trademark tends to be white feathers, as being light like their hearts, and bright like their spirits. Many of the Arbiter's live normal day to day lives yet at night they meet at the Headquarter's and form patrols. Many of these Members are Extremely Outgoing, and have a great respect for life, leaving msot of their enemie's still living to think about their lives and change them for the better. Many would give their own houses to those unfortunate. They believe in giving all they can to others. The Arbiter's are not a world-wide organization and mass only where much crime has at one time palgued the land. Member's who wish to be in cannot simply ask, they msut be caught in the middle of a good deed that bring's jsutice to their nation, out of the good in their heart's. They are evaluated in their lives secretly by Member's of the Arbiter's who at a later time ask if they would join the Arbiter's in their practices. The Leader of The Arbiter's is now a 62 year old man named Jherald Greaves. His mother and sister were raped and slaughtered by a small group of thieves when he was a young man and his father was at war. He Prized human life, but as a young man he killed the thieves, and after recieving a notice saying his father had died in teh war, he went to move to the country in which his Aunt Lived. He Did not sell his home, on his way out of the city he simply told the closest poor family he found to go to a farm outside of town and take the hosue that sit there. And he left it at that and continued to his Aunt's. Along the way he came to a home, where he caught rogue's attempting to set the home ablaze and leave the denizens to die. Jherald stopped them, brandishing the a short sword that his father once owned. He saved the family that lived within, leaving the rogue's to live and think fo their mistakes. The family praised him and they took him in, tending the wounds he had recieved. He fell in love with this family, and after telling himself he were to leave he finally, after almsot two years decided that he would stay here forever. Time passed and he married one of the daughter's in the family, and soon he made hismelf and inn in the nearby city. Soon afterward he started teh Arbiter's when a crimewave had begun to assault the city. This group alone did what the City guard could not, tracking down The Thieve's Guild and destroying it, killing only the vilest of the member's. |
