| As some of you may already know, this year we participated in the SPCA Doggy Dash. With the help of our family and friends, we were able to reach our pledge goal of $350 and then some. We raised a total of $436. The Doggy Dash was a 5k walk that was held at CSU Sacramento. We had such a great time. We finished in under an hour. My mom walked with Lucky, and I walked with Princess. After the walk we headed over to the Purina Beneful Smart Spa. There Princess and Lucky were able to kick back and relax. There was a waterfall fountain for them to get a cool drink, and a grooming section for them to get their teeth brushed. They were also giving out doggy massages, but the line was way too long, so we had to pass on that one. After their break we moved on to look at all of the venders and take full advantage of all of the free samples. Then they both did a pawcaso and painted me a picture. Who needs a brush when you can use a paw? We had so much fun that we can't wait to do it again next year.
