Genealogy Links
I have gathered some information such as marriage records census records ect. and put it all on one page. I will be adding to this page regularly also.
Just
click here to see this info.
I have only been searching my roots for a couple of months now, but in that time I have traced the Sexton branch of the family back to the late 1700's. Here are some links that have helped me out.
Webferret - If you don't have this search device, get one! It is a great way to find links to the person you are searching for. You can get one for free at Ferretsoft.com.
Ancestry.com - find info on your family or hook up with others that are searching the same tree on the forum pages.
Genealogy.com - Another site that works alot like Ancestry.com
I have found alot of info here too. You can also go directly to the Genealogy.com
search page.
The USGenWeb Project - Almost all the states and counties have historical societies that gather info such as birth record, death records, marriage records, etc. and put them here on their county site. You can search the whole nation, state, or county here.
Cyndi's List of Genealogy sites - More than 87,000 links here including links to other nations.
Social Security Death Index - Search by name or SSI number.
RootsWeb.com - Lots of information and links here too.
Your Local Library - Nothing beats this site for information!
I hope these sites help you find your way. If I can be of any help to you e-mail me at [email protected]
