You know you are...
As far as I go, I just kinda dink around on the guitar a bit, nothing fancy. My biggest inspiration is the Locust Street Punks. I remeber growing up and my parents listened to them all the time.  I remember all the different line-ups, too, although nothing was better than their original line-up back in the day.  I like all kinds of music: Blues, rock, metal, pop, blues, some rap, etc, etc. Recently, through no fault of my own, I've been listening to a lot of punk... but this about guitars, not music. Well, I guess it is about music, but not music styles... Anyway, on with the show...

He's got me guitar!
Isn't that Jason's shirt?
Here's my bro Mike playing my guitar for a pic on his page. Check out his page here.  This was my first real guitar. I got it in May in '98, and every thing I've done since has been on this axe.  All the recording I've done is on this. I'll get some pics later of me with the Les Paul.

My New Peavy EVH Wolfgang
Hey, don't touch that!
Okay, for the guitar players in the
audience, that is a Floyd Rose locking whammy
bar.  While that makes it a pain in the ass to retune
quickly, you might take notice of the little cylinder
at the botton of the low-E string. Pop that sucker
out and you're automatically transposed to Drop-D
tuning. Pretty bad ass, huh? The whammy bar is
top of the line, so are the pickups. They're hum-
buckers like the Gibson, and they crunch just as
well.  They put out just a little more gain than a
regular pickups, so it's good for solos.  The guitar
sounds really good semi-distorted, perfect for blues.
I've also got a Peavy 212 Bandit amplifier. It's sweet but I rarely take full advantage of its three channels due to my Digitech RP2000 effects processor. It's got the whole nine yards: amp simulation, standard effects, wah/pitch pedal effects, reverb, delay, oscillators, compression, pickup simulators, blah blah blah, etc etc etc.  Pretty sweet, eh?
