Check list of euphausiid species recorded in Mexico
The order Euphausiiacea is divided in two families: Bentheuphausiidae Colosi 1917 and Euphausiidae Holt and Tattersall 1905. In Mexican waters have been recorded about 47 euphausiid species from the 85 species currently described, this is about 55% of total euphausiid species.

2) West coast of Mexico (16 to 22 N)
3) Gulf of California
4) Bahia de La Paz
5) Gulf of Tehuantepec (14 to 16 N)
