| A WORLD JUST WAITING TO BE DISCOVERED | ||||||||||||||||||||
| Open the door and enter a world waiting to be discovered. I am a sailor searching for My lighthouse to guide me back into port. I am a cowboy waiting for My last sunset to ride into. I am the last of the chivalrous Men and the last of a dying breed...Open the door and see Me for the man that I am, the man that I was, the man that I hope to be. For that is all that I am. Open the door and look into My soul. I am a Man of Honor, first and foremost. I have not traded My honor for modern convenience, nor have I traded My chivalry and conscience for political correctness and expediency. I live by a Code each and every day which have never steered Me wrong. It is built on honor, integrity, chivalry, loyalty and fidelity. I am loyal to My consicence first and foremost, then to My family, then to My comrades-in-arms and finally to My contry. I am extremely patriotic and would lay down My life for My flag, My corps, My country. It was once said that a Man without honor has nothing left to lose; I believe that is right. Enter the world of a Man of faith. My walk with God and My faith in Him gives me strength and courage. My walk with Him gives My life direction. I walk the path that He has set forth before Me and I have the faith to follow it through until the end. The strength He gives me will sustain Me in times of darkness and despair. Enter the world of a Warrior Poet, a weary traveller who listens to distant music on ancient dreams. I still believe in dreams. I believe in fate and destiny, that our paths have been set forth before us by God. I dream of what lays just beyond My grasp, something I yearn for, something I crave. It is distant, it is eternal. But it is there. Few can see it and few can find it... ...this is My world... ...this is My dream... ...this is My search... ...enter if you dare... |
