For a weekend getaway, Lisa and I traveled to nearby Chattanooga, Tennessee. While visiting, we checked out Rock City, Ruby Falls, the Tennessee Aquarium, and watched a minor league baseball game. We also took part in a mystery dinner theater which was a lot of fun. |

These photos were taken at Rock City. In the first, I'm preparing to walk the swinging bridge. Lisa's a bit afraid of heights so she opted for the stone bridge. In the second photo, we are standing in front of one of Rock City's exhibits called Mushroom Rock. |

Lisa and I also visited Ruby Falls. After an elevator ride deep into the mountain, we made our way through the narrow walkways to a spectacular waterfall.
For dinner, we took part in a murder mystery dinner show. Lisa was "lucky" enough to be called on stage to participate in the "Mafia/Redneck Wedding." It was a lot of fun and the food was good too. |

Before heading off to the Tennessee Aquarium, we had breakfast at our hotel, the Hilton Garden Inn. As you can see, I had much more than I could handle. The aquarium was very interesting and fun to experience. Lisa and I are anxiously awaiting our visit to the new aquarium in Atlanta. Chattanooga has been revamping their waterfront area. We happened to be in town on the "grand opening" weekend, as you see in the second photo. |
