1860 Census lists McArthurs with d. Mary age 1 and son Clyde.

1870 Census shows ______McArthur, d. Mary age 9 in Lenoir County with brother Clyde, Scott, d Martha age 8.

1880 Census shows ______McArthur d. Mary age 19 in Lenoir County with brother Clyde.

Mom's notes said she had brother Clyde, and sister Mrs. Franklin Faulkner. Brother Scott killed by Frank Faulkner over property near Uncle Quincy--Frank went to jail for this. James Worthington (grandson) was very young. Mr. Faulkner used to give him candy at the Saturday movie and later he was told who he was. Also says in 1830 Census of Lenoir County there is a T.B. McArthur (any connection?).

Mary married Thomas Ruffin Cunningham, son of John Cunningham and Demaris Hill. (Thomas Ruffin Cunningham was born on 11 Jun 1855 and died on 14 Mar 1919 in Lenoir Co..)
