16 Feb 2004 Sold 650 @11.01 am. profit £53.75 Previously I had traded in the main United Utilities shares, but I realised that there was more potential in the partly paid A shares, both because of the gearing effect, and the fact that for a given amout of cash I could buy more shares. So on 16 Jan I bought 650 at 291.73. As usual they fell back slightly, but by mid Feb they had climbed back. There was another rise on 16 Feb, reacjing my target price of 305p, so idealing sold the shares at 305.15p, making a useful short term gain of £53. My overall total profit since last March is now £1826.56 after all costs. |
