Mon 14 July 2003 When Orange returned to the market, opportunities to buy in the IPO were limited, so I bought £1500 of shares through Hargreaves Lansdown. This company had recently contacted me about changing the detals of the nominee account. As I cannot really be bothered with any further accounts, I have decided to cut my losses on Orange for the time being. Accordingly I instructed them to sell at 9.43 am, and looking at the deals this morning I was not the only one with that idea, there having been no buyers! If and when the price falls, I intend to buy back in again at a price that will cover my dealing costs and tax. |
