Jagdgeschwader 26 presents a limited edition series of prints illustrating JG26 flown aircraft. The FW190A-8 series aircraft shown below is flown by Oberst Christopher N. Chavis, Oberkommando der Luftwaffe and Geschwaderkommodore, Jagdgeschwader 26.
His personal skill in combat seeks no illustration, but his aircraft, "Jutta", is shown below. Lines, beauty and power, this ladykiller is a tribute to Kurt Tank and his design team at Focke Wulfe. Yet another stunning product of german engineering.
Achtung!

Seen below is the FW190 A-8. The wreath on the tail is a signature of the Experten, and only aces may paint one on their aircraft.
The kill tally is noted directly above the cross itself, in increments of ten. Odd numbers are represented by vertical dashes on the tail fin underneath the cross.
Geschwaderkommodore FateX has tallied 83 kills thus far in the war, 04.12.00, as readily seen below.

Seen below is a restored FW190 A-8 in the Musee de L'air in Lebourges, France. It is the last of it's kind, the sole surviving NC900 type aircraft in existence. It was never built during WWII, it's parts captured when the Allies over ran France.
The Luftwaffe had placed orders for Fw parts with French aircraft manufacturers in then occupied France. When France was liberated, many parts and airframe assemblies were left behind, including 127 fuselages. As the French Air Force began it's rapid post-war expansion, SNCAC completed 10 (or thereabouts) FW190 A-8 aircraft from spare parts, by order of the Air Force.
These FW190's were named NC900's by the Armee de L'Air and served GCIII/.5, "Normandy-Nimen". In 1949, all but one were scrapped, and what you see pictured below is that sole survivor.
It's No. 62, and was restored in 1980. As is readily apparent, it was painted in the standard RLM scheme, however, the "half" iron cross on the fuselage is typical of Priller. Also seen is his heart card, with the word "Jutta".
