Jagdgeschwader 26 Offitzier pilot wings, in silver. Worn over the right breast pocket. Device is shown in sterling silver, ceramic enamel and gilt. Pin type.

Geschwaderkommodore Chris Chavis was decorated with the Honorable Mention in Bronze on 21, January 2000. This Honorable Mention in Bronze is solid bronze, with ceramic enamel and gilt, suspension type. It is one of seven, in a limited mint edition. Only seven Honorable Mentions in Bronze will be awarded to JG26 Experten.
The mention is accompanied by two Iron Crosses in Bronze cufflinks and a Luftwaffe tie clasp, in bronze.
This decoration was bestowed for loyalty to Jagdgeschwader 26.

RIBBONS
Jagdgeschwader 26 Offitzier Membership Ribbon, this device is displayed on the "mess board" over the left breast pocket on the Luftwaffe dress uniform.

Geschwaderkommodore FateX was also awarded the Schlageter Cuff Ribbon for the campaign month of December, '99.

Oberst Chris Chavis was decorated with the RVL Fuhrungsverband - Defense of the Reich Ribbon for gallantry in action on 9 January, 2000.
In the action of the day, Geschwaderkommodore FateX exhibited the finest traditions of skill and dedication in his selfless and gallant defense of KG/.1, JG26. His decoration was recommended and approved by this Office 11 January, 2000.

Oberst FateX was also awarded the Millennium Crux de Merite for his valued membership through the Millenium. Such a moment will never come again. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Fatex was decorated with the Knight's Cross to the Iron Cross, 2nd Class. The ribbon for that decoration is shown below. The medal is illustrated below.

This is Geschwaderkommodore FateX's current crib, or "mess board". In the board are shown his existing ribbons. As he is awarded more ribbons, his crib board will grow.

CUFF TITLES
FateX was recognized for his service with the Abbeville Cuff Title, for the campaign month of December, 1999. RLM 22 green, RLM 45 brown.

FateX was recognized for his service with the Einzachsfleiger Cuff Title, for the campaign month of January, 2000. RLM 45 brown, RLM 34 green.

FateX was recognized for his service with the Bremen Cuff Title, for the campaign month of February, 2000. It was a bleak month, the color RLM 50 grey fitting.

Cuff titles are awarded to an experten for completing a campaign month of service with the Geschwader. However, in early March, through early April, a period of a month, Jagdgeschwader 26 went through a difficult period of growth. During that month, we fought in spirit alone, the name Jagdgeschwader 26 meant little. We disbanded.
This cuff title, "Schweinfurt" is in memory of the missed company of missing friends, and a reminder of the sacrifice and struggle of that month.

FateX was recognized for his service with the Regensburg, for the campaign month of April, 2000. RLM 22 green, RLM 45 brown, RLM 50 Gray.
