Jayden continues to learn new things each week.

He loves animals and recognises a lot of them.

He sometimes mimics their sounds too.

¡@

We brought Jayden to see the Mardi Gras on Saturday this week.

He went to see some animals on Sunday after his regular swimming class.

¡@

Jayden all dressed up to go to the Mardi Gras - Sydney gay & lesbian parade.

¡@

¡@

Jayden, there are so many people at the Mardi Gras.

¡@

¡@

Jayden was asleep and missed some of the actions.

¡@

¡@

¡@

Then Jayden went to a fun event to see some farm animals.

¡@

¡@

He went to Sydney Aquarium on Saturday to see all the big fishes,

and had dinner at Uncle Alfred's place to celebrate New Year.

¡@

Jayden, you can see hundreds of fishes, penguins, seals, and even crocodiles in this aquarium!

¡@

¡@

Jayden, isn't this wonderful? See that big shark just on top of us?

This week Jayden started to show signs of learning to speak.

He can say Pa, Ma and a couple other words,

when encouraged to do so.

Unfortunately he picked up a virus on Friday and had fever on Saturday and Sunday.

So he has spent most of the weekend resting and recovering.

It's a long weekend here in Australia.

Mum & Dad took Jayden on a long trip on Friday, the Australia Day.

We went to the Wollongong area and visited Nan Tien Temple.

On Sunday, Jayden swam in the morning,

and went to the beach again in the afternoon.

¡@

Hey, where is my breakfast?

¡@

¡@

Jayden, the Nan Tien Temple is the biggest one in Southern Hemisphere. Isn't it big?

¡@

¡@

There are lots of little statues in the temple area.

¡@

Jayden went back to childcare on Monday but was sick with a sore throat for the rest of the week.

He recovered in time for the weekend to join a party at our friend's place on Saturday.

He took his weekly Sunday swimming class in the morning and we went to the beach late in the afternoon.

¡@

Jayden, do you really know how to play table soccer?

¡@

Jayden, get your sand gear, off we go to the beach now. Yes, wearing the sun glasses is a good idea.

¡@

Jayden was very cautious not to touch the sand initially.

¡@

But it only took a few moments for him to get going.

¡@

Jayden says bye-bye to the beach. Mum & Dad promised to bring him again next week.
