Theatre Life:
Yesterday, My Fair Lady was performed as the 24-Hour Musical. It was so much fun! I can't get enough of the people that I worked with. I'm so glad I took part in it--and I'm SO doing it again next year! The only thing is, I don't know how I forget the words "When she mentioned how her aunt bit off the spoon" and turned them into "When she mentioned how her mother lost her hair"... yikes!

But apparently I did well, because a lot of people I talked to said some really nice things about my rehearsals and my performance. They really boosted me up, because they were coming from everyone, and they're professional! I think the one I liked most came from Pat, the man who played Mrs. Pearce (Yes, I typed that right and you read it right.) He said "This guy is the best damn Freddy in town!!" Now, I don't know how true that is or not, but it was nice. Also, the gentleman who was in charge of our make-up asked me for my email, and when I checked it this morning, he's setting me up with a profile for Talent709, which is "The talent directory of Screen and Stage for Newfoundland and Labrador". This could (Hopefully) give me a boost toward the professional side of acting/theatre that I've always wanted to get to. In fact, this site will be included in my profile, so I should PROBABLY clean up a bit.

Theatre Life:
Today was the start of the 24-hour musical that I told you guys about yesterday. As I said, it was a choice between 3 musicals, Hair, My Fair Lady and Beauty and the Beast. Well, it's been decided that the show will be My Fair Lady. It's quite exciting because I've been cast as Freddy, Eliza's wannabe boyfriend. It's a fairly large role, I have to say. I'm looking quite forward to tomorrow!!! But that's enough for now, because I need to sculpt a bust of Plato for 7 am tomorrow. I must flee!!!!

University Life:

I've just completed my first semester at Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador and I have to say, I love it! Now, my marks are--well, some are stellar and some aren't the best *cough*math*cough*. But beside that, MUN is treating me really well. I get to meet a lot of great friends (and hang out with old friends). It's got restaurants, gyms, pools, a big library, and bars, pool halls and arcades!!! EVERYTHING I need. Including Sara! My next semester starts in about a week, and I'll tell you more when I start.

Work Life:
So, as of the end of September, I began working at Tim Hortons, and today marks just about 3 months of it. It's a good job, and I like it a lot. But it doesn't compare to music or theatre! I'm fitting in well, and I've caught on rather quickly, it seems, because my training ended early. It takes up a lot of time, but hey, time is money, and there are worse things I could be working at.

Theatre Life:
I just completed Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat a short while ago, and it's been one of the most fun shows I've had the pleasure to be in. I made a site about it, and you can check it out by clicking the "PAST EVENTS" link on the menu.

Next, I start the 24-hour Musical with Artistic Fraud. I've been wanting to do it for the last three years, but I haven't been able to, due to conflicts in my schedule. However, I get to partake this year--and the 24 hours begins as of 7pm tomorrow! They're choosing the show tomorrow at 7, but the choices are 1 of 3: Beauty and the Beast, My Fair Lady, and Hair. You can check out some more info about this by clicking on the "CURRENT EVENTS" link on the menu. On that page there is also a link to the Artistic Fraud homepage, which provides even further information.
