WE WATCH THE STARS BECAUSE WE CAN

I was running a race in my high school P.E. class when, all of a sudden, there was a light in the sky. It was daytime, it was actually unusually hot that day, but this light seemed to be brighter than the sun. I will never forget the shape of this light stucture: It was a perfect square.

I stopped running and I seemed to notice that everone else was running by me. Maybe they didn't notice this unusually large and bright object in the sky, or maybe they just didn't care. I cared, and I stared. I lost the race that day, but I won the chance to see the most amazing event that I have ever seen.
