The Minox as a Copy Camera

 

The small size of the Minox makes it ideal for smuggling into restricted place to take photos without being noticed, but this is only part of its practical value. The Minox is designed with a flat-field lens which makes it an excellent copy camera. So not only can you sneak it into a restricted area, but you could then use it to make excellent reproductions of maps and other top-secret documents. Below is a copy made from a page of a book:

And best of all, the Minox negative is 8 X 11mm, small enough to hide beneath a postage stamp. The photograph below shows a Minox negative (the one used to make the above print) besides a standard size postage stamp.
