TWVA proudly took delivery of the Airbus A320 this last week. Now our pilots are going to get a chance to try it out and we need some volunteers to test some new routes. As part of our ongoing attempt to expand our European routes, we would like to test the A320 on an unscheduled route. The route will fly from Paris, France (LFPG) to Dublin, Ireland (EIDW) to Shannon, Ireland (EINN) and back to Paris. Your assignment is to test this route, reporting the time flown for each leg of the journey and the fuel used.
ASSIGNMENT:
Flight Assignment

For those looking for an IFR flight plan, try the following:

EQUIPMENT:
The new A320 delivered to TWVA is to be used.
CONDITIONS & TERMS:
This featured flight will probably be the most fun for users of FS2002 since the plane is geared for FS2002, but if you do not have FS2002, don't fret and read on..

This is a new plane. Try everything out, GPS, whatever you want for navigation. I only ask that you report your actual time flown and fuel used for this flight. (ie record your starting and ending fuel weights and subtract the difference) .

Notes:
For those of you haven't flown in Europe before, don't be afraid of it. If you fly online with Squawkbox, the controllers speak ENGLISH and/or whatever language for whatever country you are flying in. Flight regulations are the same, etc. The only thing you might find different is that an ATC may give you the altimeter setting in millibars rather than inches of mercury (ie 1010 mb vs. 29.92hg for instance). If they do, just ask for the equivalent in inches.

Also, this flight was geared for FS2002 users. PLEASE, if you don't have FS2002, feel free to use an A320 for whatever version you are using. The objective is for everybody to have fun.

SCENERY: If you do not have the additional sceneries installed for PARIS, DUBLIN, and SHANNON, you can find them at www.flightsim.com or www.avsim.com or www.pcpilotsireland.com. There are versions of these sceneries available for most FS?? versions.
Of course, you don't have to have them installed, but it makes the destinations more fun.

NOTE: ALL PILOTS ARE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS FLIGHT REGARDLESS OF RANK.

DATES: FLIGHT MAY BE FLOWN ON ANY DATE.

WEATHER: SET WEATHER AT YOUR DISCRETION.

TIME PAID: - 200% hours paid if accurate time AND fuel reported.
....................... 100% hours paid if fuel NOT reported.
....................... 300% hours paid if flown ONLINE and fuel reported.
