Moving!

There has been some interest shown among some of our correspondents regarding what may happen to us, now that Shawn, Alex and The Little Darlings are moving to Clarksville, Tennessee.   We certainly have no interest in remaining in Chicago alone.  Cynthia wanted to return to Dallas.   Jim wanted to return to Florida.

Cynthia would have moved to Florida if  Favorite Mother-In-Law would;  FMIL's husband vetoed that one.  Jim couldn't find a set of conditions that would make returning to Texas sound good to him.  So a compromise was needed.    One was found:

For those who are not immediately familiar with the smaller places in Tennessee, and those whose knowledge of Tennessee is limited to it's production of one Albert Gore, we give you a map:

Clarksville, TN is about 35 minutes from Nashville and 45 minutes from the Nashville International (!) Airport.  Clarksville has over 100,000 softspoken, drawling residents and seems to be a booming place judging by all the home construction going on.  It ia also home to Austin Peay State University (part of the Uof TN and Alex's new employer) and, on it's far western reaches, Fort Campbell, KY.

We flew down the other day and found a home on the eastern edge of Clarksville, near I-24 and as far from downtown and the 101st Airborne as you can be and still be in the county.    Oddly enough, it is only a mile or so from the new home of the Doctors King and more importantly Ainsley and Savannah ....
