Poems

Parts of my life

I thought I saw the sun

rising midnight

in the west

On a normal day

the land stuttered, slept

and became a dew burning flower

I once ran

standing still

to an open field

Memories overtaken by fears

became a dream

it felt wrong

and to end something

that never began

became a

            destiny

                              michelle

She

Sometimes she looks at me

Sometimes she stares

But there's no escaping

From her glare

Emotional  roller coasters

Stumbles into the see

Where it's every wish

Is to be set free

Unleashed in a world of fantasy

Unreached in my hart

Sometimes she stretches

And tries to reach

But a person isn't a try

Not one to fail

She'll try again

But to be a human who cares

Doesn't commit to her speech

There she sits

Noticing me in her glare

And rocks up and down

While dry lips wait

And then I'll try to reach

To touch her hart

Like I'm sure

She once touched mine

But my arm is that of a baby

And her hart is one of stone

Not one to fail

I'll try again

But a feathers flight

Is never as smooth as in the wind

So as the days pass by

I look at her

Sometimes I stare

But there's no escaping

From my glare.
