------------------------ Purpose of This GGGuide ------------------------
***********************************************************************

The sole purpose of this guide is to aid new players of Chrono Cross as
they progress through the game, by providing as complete a walkthrough
as I could provide, as well as a bestiary, lists of characters,
elements, and items. Enjoy and send any comments/suggestions my way.

***********************************************************************
---------------------------- 1. Storyline   -----------------------------
***********************************************************************
Chrono Cross has you in the place of Serge, a young man who lives
peacefully in a small village. After exploring one day, he is taken
from his home world and transported to a sort of alternate dimension,
where he does not exist and died 10 years ago. He must sort things out
and put things back to normal. But while he is trying to set things
right in the alternate world (from here on referred to as "Another
World"), things in the regular world ("Home World") go horribly wrong.
Serge must cross back and forth to maintain the balance between good
and evil in both worlds.

[ Saving ]
You can save your game or switch characters at any time while on the
world map. However, when you are in an area map, you must find a Record
of Fate, a triangular green object.

[ Recruiting Characters ]
Along your journey, you will find many characters you can have join
your party. For a complete list, see the Character List found after the
bestiary.

[ Map Types ]
There are two types of maps that will be referred to in this guide.
"Area Map" - the normal screen
"World Map" - much larger view, seen from bird's eye view

[ The Menu Screen ]
Press Triangle to access the menu screen. The options:

Status: see information on your characters

Elements: lets you use consumable elements, and allocate elements to
           your grid. (see below for more information)

Equip: lets you place equipment on your characters to improve their
        fighting ability and stats.

Items: shows a list of Key Items you have collected.

Customize: lets you change game options, such as frames.

Save/Load: lets you save your current game or load another.

[ Party Order ]
You don't always have to have Serge as leader of the party. Once you've
obtained a special device, you can switch off. You may have better luck
in some areas without Serge leading.

[ Building Your Stats ]
As you fight enemies, you will notice that your characters gain bonuses
in certain attributes. Be sure to fight as many enemies as possible in
the area. If you don't, the boss may be too strong for you.

[ Star Levels ]
Star Levels represent your party's overall strength, both in combat
abilities and in their Element Grids, explained later. If a Summon
Element is used, your star level will decrease by one. If you have a
total of 10 Star Levels, it will decrease to 9/10 and so on. You can
restore this number to its original amount by sleeping at an inn. You
should do this as much as possible to restore health, stamina, as well
as your Stars.

[ Treasure Chests ]
You will notice a significant amount of treasure chests scattered
throughout the world. Open as many as possible. You never know what may
be inside, and you can never get too many supplies...

[ Equipping Characters ]
Be sure to visit shops to get new weapons, armor, and accessories to
equip your characters as needed to fight bosses and tough enemies.

[ Fighting Bosses ]
Without a doubt, you will be encountering many bosses throughout your
adventure. They are harder than other normal enemies and will take
longer to defeat. If at all a boss is TOO hard, you can run away by
choosing the option from the in-battle menu. At this point, you can
reorganize your party, fix Element Grids, etc. to your need.

                       *************************
                       * - [ Battle Basics ] - *
                       *************************

[ Starting A Battle ]
Unlike most other RPGs, battles are not random and only ensue if you
come in physical contact with an enemy on the screen. Do this to start
a battle.

[ Character Alignment ]
When you go into battle, the leader of the three characters will be in
the center, the second to the right of the leader, and the third to the
left of the leader. On the opposite side is the enemy. The amount will
range from one to four, with five or six in certain circumstances in
the storyline.

[ Turn-Based Combat ]
Chrono Cross is unique in that there is no "time gauge" to wait for
before your character can take action. As long as the person has
stamina, which decreases with each action but will slowly be restored.
Stamina will be explained below...

[ Menu Options ]
There are 4 basic options during battle.
Attack -   attack an enemy
Element - use spells in your Element Grid to damage the enemy
Defend - no action, but gain stamina and take less damage from
            physical attacks
Run Away - escape from battle if necessary

[ Targeting An Enemy ]
Once it is a character's turn, put your cursor on Attack and press X.
The enemy targeted will usually be monster "A", but if another feels
more threatening to you, press the directional buttons to choose
another opponent.

[ Hit Percentage ]
During a turn, an attack has a certain percentage of hitting.
1 - least damage, highest percentage. Consumes 1 stamina.
2 - medium damage, medium percentage. Consumes 2 stamina.
3 - most damage, lowest percentage. Consumes 3 stamina.
It's best to start with 1, followed by 2, 3, and then 1.

[ Stamina ]
Each character has 7.0 stamina that gets reduced by attacks. Using an
Element will reduce the stamina level by 7. It is possible to go below
0.0 stamina. When this happens, the character is inactive and will
slowly rise above zero. As other characters attack, a person's stamina
will increase. If all characters get below zero, the enemy will attack
until you are back and ready to take action.

[ Defending ]
You can choose to defend, which will make you gain stamina and receive
less damage from physical attacks. You will automatically defend if you
get below zero in stamina.

[ Status Effects ]
In later battles, your enemies will attack you, leading to side effects
called status effects. You're best off removing these as soon as
possible. Some will poison you, leading to a loss of health after each
turn, and some will sprain you, leading to a loss of speed after
battle. There are several side effects, and they can be cured by using
consumable elements (see Element Basics, Consumable Elements).

[ After Battle ]
Once you win the battle, you have the option to heal (explained at the
end of the next section). You will also see a list of spoils you
receive, such as elements and weapon materials. For all boss battles,
you will receive a Star.

                       **************************
                       * - [ Element Basics ] - *
                       **************************

[ What Are Elements? ]
Using Elements is a vital feature of Chrono Cross. Most elements damage
the enemy in some way, while some heal and some revive characters who
have fallen in battle. Elements come in seven different colors/types:
black, white, red, blue, green, yellow, and rainbow. There is only one
rainbow element found much later on in the game. You'll find out what
it is at the right time...

[ Using Elements ]
During battle, if you attack and hit the target, you will gain element
levels, shown above the character's current HP. At any point, you may
select Element from the battle menu and choose one to use. The highest
level is 8, but you'll need to progress through the game first to gain
more by fighting battles. A Level 1 attack will gain you one element
point, a Level 2 will gain you two element points, and Level 3 will
gain you three. At first, your Hit% will not be high and you will
likely not hit on every attack, so you will only gain a small amount.
But as you go on, this number will get higher, and soon you will be
getting 7 in a single turn.

Elements are classified by number. The higher the number, the higher
the column it must be on. EXAMPLE: ElectroJolt, a basic element, is at
level 2. This means that the smallest column number you can assign it
to is 2. 1 will not work. If you put it on something higher than two,
it will have more power and will have a new name, with the addition of
a +_, with the _ being the number of increase. Putting ElectroJolt on
the level 4 column will make the name change to: ElectroJolt+2.

If your element level is at 1, you will only be able to use the
elements allocated (placed in) to the first column, and so on and so
forth. An Element Grid looks something like this (at later levels):

 ___ ___ ___
|___|___|___|___
|___|___|___|___|___
|___|___|___|___|___|___
|___|___|___|___|___|___|___
|___|___|___|___|___|___|___|___
|___|___|___|___|___|___|___|___|
|___|___|___|___|___|___|
|___|___|___|
  1   2   3   4   5   6   7   8

...with different colored elements scattered throughout the grid.

Once you have built up at least one element level, select Element from
the battle menu and choose one to your desire. If you gain a certain
amount of element levels, you do not necessarily need to use an element
from that column of the grid.
EXAMPLE: (assuming you have 4+ columns in the grid) It's your turn. You
start with a level 1 attack, and you hit the enemy. You move up to a
medium attack, level 2, and you hit your target once again. At this
point your element level is at 3. You attempt a fierce/lvl3 attack, but
you miss. And you finish off with another level 1 attack, bringing your
current level up to 4. The other characters attack, boosting your
stamina to 7.0 again. At this point you have the option to attack, use
an element, defend, or run away. You choose Element. You have the
option to choose from your 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th column. You have a
good one in the 3rd, so you choose that. After attacking, your element
will be 1, not 0.

This is because the level will only decrease by the column's number.
Get it? Good.

[ The Rules of Using Elements ]

As you probably expected, there are several laws to using elements.

1) Each character & enemy has their own "Innate" element type. It can
tell you about what type the character is particularly good at using.

2) There are elemental opposites. Characters who have opposite Innate
Elements are more harmful to each other. The opposite pairs are Black
and White, Red and Blue, and Green and Yellow.
EXAMPLE: Serge, for example, is a White Innate. Alphabat, one of the
first enemies you will fight in the game, is a Black Innate. Serge will
have more powerful attacks on the Alphabat than any other character who
is not a White. However, the Alphabat will unfortunately also have an
advantage over Serge in attacks and Elements, and will most likely
target him first. Watch out for this.

3) Two characters/enemies with the same Innate color will do less
damage on each other.

4) In order to use Summon Elements (explained below), the entire Field
Effect (also explained below) must be entirely the summon's color.

[ Field Effect ]
Upon using elements in battle, you will notice an oval shape in the top
left corner of the screen. This oval displays the field effect. The
field effect will change color according to what type of element you
use in battle. If a field effect is completely one color, elements of
that color will have more power. There are several elements that will
automatically turn the field one color. These can be recognized by the
world Field after the color. EXAMPLE: GreenField, RedField.

[ Summon Elements ]
The ultimate elements are hard to find Summon Elements. All Summons
must be allocated to columns 6, 7 or 8 of the grid, so you must have a
pretty advanced character to use these. Summons all have different
effects. Some attack, while some heal. In order to use Summon elements,
the Field Effect must be the color of the summon you want to use. Also,
using a Summon uses up a Star Level, which must be restored by resting
at an inn. Summon Elements are designated by a star, *.

[ Consumable Elements ]
There are certain elements in the game that can only be used once. Most
heal or get rid of status effects like poison and sprain. These element
 can be allocated to your grid in groups of 5. As they get used, they
get replaced by another if you have it. Consumables are designated by
"x1" before the name.

[ Trap Elements ]
There are certain elements in the game called Trap elements that will
capture a certain element. In this guide, they are designated by a V.
For example if you cast the V UltraNova spell, and the enemy uses
UltraNova, you will not take any damage, plus you get to keep the
element.

[ Tech Skills ]
Each character has three (or less) unique elements called Tech Skills.
These attacks are great for use in battle, and have various effects.
Each person usually has level 3, 5, and 7 Tech Skills. The first two
are learned over time by achieving stars after battles. Most level 7
techniques are available in two ways. They must be either earned by
achieving 35 or 40 stars, and also by completing tasks involving the
character. There are even some Double and Triple Tech Skills. In order
for you to perform these devastating attacks, you need to have certain
characters in the party together. These groups are:
Key: Name (Tech Skill) + Name (Tech Skill) = new tech (innate)

DOUBLE
Serge (Dash&Slash) + Glenn (Dash&Gash)   = X-Strike (RED)
Kid (Pilfer) + Mel (Snatch) = DoubleTake (RED)
Guile (WandaSwords) + Sneff (SwordTrick) = SwordStorm (BLACK)
Norris (TopShot) + Grobyc (StrongArm) = PitchBlack (BLACK)
Radius (VitalEnergy) + Viper (AirForce) = VitalForce (WHITE)
Karsh (DragonRider) + Zoah (Toss&Spike) = DragonSpike (GREEN)
Nikki (LimeLight) + Miki (DanceOnAir) = Flamenco (RED)
Draggy (BigBreath) + Leah (TripleKick) = DraggyRider (YELLOW)
NeoFio (BamBamBam) + Turnip (VegOut) = TossedSalad (GREEN)

TRIPLE
Serge (Luminaire) + Leena (MaidenFaith) + Razzly (Raz-Flower)
                                              = DeltaAttack (WHITE)
Serge (FlyingArrow) + Kid (RedPin) + Sprigg (4)*
                                              = Z-Slash (BLUE)
*note: Sprigg must Doppelgang into Slash and be at element level 4.

You receive your first Tech Skills after the Fossil Valley fight with
Solt and Peppor (3 Stars).

[ Allocating Elements ]
When you recruit a new character, their Element Grid will be completely
empty, and you will need to fill it. You need to "allocate", or assign
an Element to each slot. There are two ways to do this: by using Auto
Allocate, or by manually doing it. Auto Allocate is very fast, but you
might not like some results. I recommend doing it manually, so you have
more preference. You can always replace elements you have allocated.

[ Element Uses After Battle ]
Once a battle ends, your health may be low. After winning, you have the
option to heal. You can heal using any remaining restorative elements,
you can use consumables (the items designated by the "x1" before the
name), or you can choose not to do anything at all. It's best to heal,
and anyway, why would you not heal if you have the opportunity?

Now that you know the basics of Chrono Cross, start the game already!

--------------------------- 3. Walkthroughhh ----------------------------
***********************************************************************

Follow this walkthrough from the beginning to the end for the best
results in your game. You can tell which world is which by the icon in
the top left corner of the world map.

NOTES:
   -Sidequests have been incorporated into the text of the walkthrough.
   -For enemies that you fight more than once, I've listed them as
     "Round __".
   -Boss names are CAPITALIZED so you can recognize them better.
   -Key items are also CAPITALIZED so you can recognize them better.
   -In boss fights with more than one opponent, all stats are listed in
     respective order.
   -Trap Elements are designated with a V, because it kinda looks like
     a down arrow. Don't ask.

As the game opens, you find yourself in a dungeon, also known as Fort
Dragonia. You won't be here again for a while. You will find yourself
with Kid and a randomly chosen third character. After leaving the
elevator, Kid talks about someone named Lynx. Head left to the balcony
overlooking the crystal-like object. After a short conversation, go
back past the elevator and into the large main chamber. Go down, up the
stairs to the left, down again, down the other set of stairs, and go
southeast, leaving the main chamber. Be sure to enjoy a few battles to
get the hang of it. Here, go up the staircase and through the door at
the other end. Go straight along the path, until you reach the room at
the other side. Press X at the crystal to deactivate it. Now head back,
going under the bridge, up the staircase on the right, and onto the
circular platform. You will be transported to a higher level. Walk up
to the door, and Serge will have a strange vision. We discover that all
this has been his dream.

After you leave your room, your mother tells you that you're late to

After leaving your house, talk to the man on the far left who's caught

scales are among girls. He worries that he won't have one to give to a
girl he likes. While facing him press Square and press X on the Komodo
Scale. This will give him it and he will be ecstatic. In return, he
gives you an Uplift element. Allocate it.

Search the cart in the middle of the area where the lady is standing.
You should find a Shellfish Frame, and she will give it to you. Frames
are used as borders of the text boxes. To select it or two other
defaults, go to Customize in the main menu.

Enter the second house from the right, and down into the basement. Talk
to the man there for a Shark Tooth.

Go into the other house on the right, and talk to the barrel four times
for an Uplift. Go to the room in the back, and search the bed for a
Heckran Bone. Look on the table at the right for an Ivory Helmet.

Go into the second house on the left and look inside the bucket for
PhotonRay.

Go to the left of the village, where the village chief, Radius, is
teaching. Look inside the bucket outside the house on the left for an
AquaBeam. Go inside and search the frame on the left side of the room
for Cure.

Talk to Radius for a tutorial on the basics of battle.

=======================================================================
NEW CHARACTER - Poshul
Find Poshul, the dog that is running around. Press Square and select
the Heckran Bone. Give it to her and she will join you.
=======================================================================

Finally, visit the pier and talk to Leena. She wants you to go to
Lizard Rock to get some Komodo Scales for a necklace. Answer "Sure, no
problem" to her question, and she says she'll wait for you at Opassa
Beach after you've collected three scales. If you want to, visit the
cart in the middle of town (where you found the Shellfish Frame) and
stock up on Elements and equipment for you and Poshul. For some tips on
Komodo catching, talk to the fisherman's dad. Leave the town.

This section is optional but you can find two items here for use later
on. Watch out for the geysers and the enemies wandering the area. Upon
entering, go left for a Heal element (allocate it). Above it you will
find a Bone, which will be used to forge weapons. Go up to the next
screen. At the end of this small cliff, you can engrave your love for
Leena, on the rock. Press X while you are facing it. After doing this,
leave and head south to Lizard Rock.

             Silver Loupe

[ Elements ] Fireball
             x1Tablet (x5)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

In order to gain the three Komodo scales, you will need to trap and
defeat three Komodo Pups wandering around. To move the boulder blocking
the entrance, press X. Slowly move along the right side of the screen
and run at the komodo while it is along the bottom of the rocks. You
will scare it into running through the cave to the other side. Push the
boulder so it covers the entrance to the cave. Go around and towards
the komodo pup. It will go back through the cave, but it will be
trapped. Follow it and you will start a battle with it and possibly one
or two other enemies. Win and you obtain a Komodo Scale. One down, two
to go. Before exiting this screen, get the Fireball element on the
right side and allocate it.

Go to the northwest exit of this screen. You will see a Komodo Pup.
Here you just need patience. Run around the screen in a
counter-clockwise direction, chasing the komodo. Have patience, and
you'll catch up to it. Defeat it and you get another Komodo Scale. Be
sure to look for a hole in the lower-left part of this screen. Serge
will go through to the central area. Open the chest, which contains a
Bone. Go through the top cave to find an Ivory Helmet. Find a BeachBum
who is guarding his treasure. Kill him and open the chest to find 5
x1Tablets. Go through the southeast exit of this screen.

The Komodo Pup in this screen will run away from you. Go up the green
tree at the top of the screen and defeat the BeachBum at the top.
Continue to the edge of the cliff and wait for the komodo to stand
underneath you. Press X to jump on it and the battle will begin. This
takes practice and good timing. After defeating the pup, a mother
komodo will appear right away, giving you no time to allocate, heal,
or recharge Stamina.

== BOSS FIGHT == Mama Komodo ==========================================

Hopefully you used all physical attacks against the Komodo Pup in the
last battle. If you did, your element level should be maxed out. You
also should have allocated a few elements to your and Poshul's grids.
Use Fireball for big damage against Mama Komodo. This battle shouldn't
be too hard. Just keep using elements and physical attacks, and she
should fall eventually.

Push the boulder into the water at the bottom of the screen. The

and you'll have to be more careful.

There is a sign nearby that warns of danger. Lizard Rock is swarming
with OpahFish, so be prepared to fight battles. They are of innate red,
so use blue elements against them. In the alternate Lizard Rock, you'll
find a Feather where you found the Bone, an Ivory Helmet where you
found the Fireball, and another Bone where the Silver Loupe was. Use
the strategies described in Lizard Rock (Home) to get them. Make your
way out of here to the world map. Head towards Arni Village.

Things have changed here. No one recognizes Serge, and some aspects of
the village have changed too. Go left to where Radius was teaching
before. There is a TurnRed element in the bucket outside the house to
the left. Inside, there are 5 x1Tablets behind the frame. Leave this
area and go to Serge's (ex-?)house. Search along the left side of the
room for a MagmaBomb element. Do not sleep in this house because you
will have to pay 100G. Now go to the building where the restaurant was
in the Home World. It's been changed into a flower shop. Talk to the
pot (in the same location as the barrel) four times for IceLance. There
are 5 x1Tablets behind the curtain in the back room. Go to the second
house on the left. Search in the bucket where the PhotonRay was before
for another PhotonRay. In here, Serge will see Leena on the pier. Talk
to her. She tells you that the boy named Serge drowned 10 years ago.
Neither of her conversation options affects the outcome of the game.
She directs you to Cape Howl, where Serge's tombstone is. If you want,
stock up on supplies if you have the money. Leave town.

[ Items ]    Bone
             TELE-PORTER (if you recruit Kid)

[ Elements ] ElectroJolt
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Before proceeding to the cliff, get the ElectroJolt element and the
Bone. Head up the path. In the Home World, Serge had engraved his love
for Leena on the rock. But in this place, the same rock is his
tombstone. As he tries to make sense of it all, three soldiers named
Karsh, Solt, and Peppor approach. Karsh is one of the four Acacia
Dragoon Devas, while Solt and Peppor are dunces who can't do anything
right. Their main point in the game is to teach you about the different
uses of elements.

Apparently, they have been looking for him and wish to take him away.
If Poshul is in your party, she will get kicked off the cliff,
unavailable for the upcoming battle. Just as the three wish to fight,
a mysterious girl (Kid) steps in and challenges them to a fight. They
accept, and the battle begins.

== BOSS FIGHT == Karsh (Round 1), Solt (Round 1), Peppor (Round 1) ====
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
HP: 115, 52, 60 Drop (Common): see bestiary
Innate: Green, Yellow, Yellow Drop (Rare): see bestiary

Defense/MagDef: 0/3, 0/0, 0/0           Steal (Rare): see bestiary
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

After a few attacks, Solt and Peppor will start talking about elements.
Pay attention and you could learn some valuable things for later on.
Neither has any black elements, so you don't need to worry. Kid has her
own elements, but if you help turn the field effect red, Peppor will
use his own reds to damage you. Karsh is the strongest, so you should
focus on wiping him out first. Stay strong and you should win.
=======================================================================

After the three have fled, Kid introduces herself. She wants to join
the party. If you accept, she will join you in your trip to Termina. If
you refuse her three times, she will run away. I recommend refusing her
since she will join later anyway, and if you let her join now, Leena
will never be available to you. From this point on, it's assuming that
you didn't accept Kid's offer.

After she leaves, you decide to rest in Arni Village for the night.

=======================================================================
NEW CHARACTER - Mojo
Go down to the basement. The fisherman will be there, but he's changed.
With Kid or Leena in your party, show him the Shark Tooth. He becomes
upset. While you are leaving the room, the straw idol on the altar

To investigate the upper area, talk to the guard at the bottom of the
ladder. Explain that you are the exorcists who have come to help. Go up
the ladder, and talk to the dragoons about the noises. Go up to the
dragon skull and take the Heavy Skull that comes out. If you find all
its bones, you can take them to Termina, where he can be reassembled.
Go down the other ladder to the bird's nest, where you saw the
oversized bird hopping about earlier. Take the Big Egg from the nest.
The bird will come after you, but if you're fast you can make it up the
ladder again. But if you do get in a battle, it shouldn't be too hard.

Curve left and go to the top of the area. Pick the Bellflower there.
You'll need it later on. Go down the ladder you came up through, and go
left to the exit. Here you'll find Solt and Peppor again, and they want
a rematch.

== BOSS FIGHT == Solt (Round 2), Peppor (Round 2) =====================

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

In this battle, the two will attempt to use "Turn" elements on you.
They cast TurnBlack on Serge, but don't have the white elements to use
against him. Once again, pay close attention to what they talk about.
Use elements and physical attacks to wear them down. This is an easy
fight, and it will grant your party a third star, as well as your Level
3 Tech Skills.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

When you enter Termina, an Acacia Dragoon named Glenn will be talking
with the florist about bellflowers. The florist is out of stock. Glenn
leaves. If your health is low, you can rest at the inn across from the
florist for 100G. There is a Record of Fate there, so save if you want
to.

On the mid-level of town, there is a bar and an element shop. Stock up
if you need to. The singer Nikki's oceanliner is docked on the left of
the city. On the right is the marketplace. But first go up the stairs
to the top level of Termina.

=======================================================================
NEW CHARACTER - Kid
Talk to the statue polisher, and Kid will approach again (if you
followed the instructions not to recruit her earlier) and she will
request to join again. This time let her, and she will give you the
Tele-porter, which lets you switch out party members anytime on the
World Map or when you're near a Record of Fate.
=======================================================================

Kid explains that you should sneak into Viper Manor to figure out why
the dragoons are after you. At this point, you can find one of three
guides to take you there, since you cannot get in on your own. But
first you should take care of some things in the city.

Talk to the person in the shadows to the left of the statue. He will
give you the Tea for Three Frame. Go into the house on the right. The
Heavy Skull (a character named Skelly) will recognize his family, but
won't do anything. Come back here after you have recovered all the body
parts and he will become a character who will join your party. Head
towards the marketplace.

Speak to the churro vendor and the sketch artist. The man next to them
who has a mermaid on display is presenting. A kid named Korcha
interrupts and pokes fun at him. He escapes by boat. Go up the path
past the marketplace. You will be on a bridge, and Zappa's Smithy is
nearby. Go here for new equipment for your characters.

There is a character named Pierre in the back room. He is one of the
characters who will guide you into Viper Manor, but you'll need to find
his Hero's Medal first. Details below.

Continue past the shop to the two-story building in the back. When you
enter, look behind the staircase for a Profiteer Purse. Leave and go
back to the main marketplace, where the mermaid was. Go right and down
the staircase.

You've reached the shrines. The undertaker named Greco isn't here right
now, but you can recruit him later. Glenn and a lady named Riddel are
at a grave marked with a sword. Talk to them, and offer them your
bellflower. You can give it for free, or ask them for any price up to
70G. Under the hut is a path that leads to a shore where Korcha has
docked his boat. He offers to take you to Viper Manor if you can find a
guide.

It's a fairly big decision choosing your guide. Each of the three have
their own good qualities. For more help on choosing go to the
characters section.

Choose one of the following, and skip ahead to the corresponding
section:

=======================================================================
NEW CHARACTER - Guile
Your first option as a guide is Guile. Find him in the bar and agree
to let him join. Go back and talk to Korcha, and he will take you to
Viper Manor Bluffs (Another).
=======================================================================

=======================================================================
NEW CHARACTER - Nikki
Go to Nikki's oceanliner and enter the dressing room. Talk to the man
on the right who will say Nikki is missing. The dancer Miki will enter
and beg you to look for him in the Shadow Forest. Nikki will join
there. Leave Termina and head east, past Viper Manor, to the Shadow
Forest (Another).
=======================================================================

=======================================================================
NEW CHARACTER - Pierre
First, go into the backyard of Zappa's Smithy. Talk to the boy running
around and he will give you a Hero's Medal. Give this to Pierre, and he
will take you to the Viper Manor Gates (Another).
=======================================================================

Leave town.

If you chose Guile's path, this is the section. If you chose Nikki or
Pierre, scroll down to their corresponding sections.

Korcha drops you off at the base of the bluffs. He will row you back to
Termina if you wish. As you begin climbing, an Acacia PVT notices you
and begins tossing boulders. Take extra caution to avoid these, as they
will take 10 HP off each party member if the lead character is hit.

There are also geysers here, so try not to get knocked down. However,
they will also aid you in getting the treasure chests here. When you
reach the top, a horde of Acacia PVTs will attack you.

== BOSS FIGHT == Acacia PVTs ==========================================
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
HP: 70 each Drop (Common): x1Tablet

Defense/MagDef: 0/1                     Steal (Rare): x1Capsule
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Use physical attacks and green elements to finish them off. This is an
easy battle.
=======================================================================

Heal your party afterwards, and face the bird-like creature that
finishes off the guards.

== BOSS FIGHT == KingMoaman ===========================================

Defense/MagDef: 0/2 Steal (Rare): Feathery Dress
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Although Red and BlueMoaman are in this battle, I'm not including them
as bosses. They will cast Strength and Nimble on KingMoaman, making him
harder to wear down. Still, use white elements and physical attacks on
it to get it out of the battle first. Take out the two others after.
This battle shouldn't be hard, just watch out for King's GravityBlow.
=======================================================================

Wait for nightfall, and then enter Viper Manor. Skip the following two

This is Nikki's path. If you chose Guile or Pierre, scroll up or down
to their corresponding sections.

In the second screen of the forest, get AeroSaucer and Uplift.

Proceed into the forest until you find Nikki, singing to a green
monster. He runs off. Follow him. In the next area, you will see he is
surrounded by Cassowaries. Run up to save him.

== BOSS FIGHT == Cassowaries ==========================================
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
HP: 100 each Drop (Common): Uplift

Defense/MagDef: 1/0                     Steal (Rare): ElectroJolt
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Use all the green elements you have on the Cassowaries. Use physical
attacks as well. Wear them down until they fall and Nikki is safe.
=======================================================================

Nikki walks away, still in a trance. Your party will notice a Quaffid
blocking the path on. Follow Nikki under the waterfall. He tells you
how to move the Quaffid and he joins your party. Leave and enter again.

Open the chest and take the Aroma Pouch. Read the note and take the
Angry Scapula. Go to the round plant located in the beginning of the
Shadow Forest. Press X and some red pollen will come out. Find the red
monster and take it to the Quaffid. After it eats the monster, it will
shrink. In fright, it gives the party the Skullduggery Frame.

Note: if you go to any other of the round plants, you will have to
attract another monster. The green and blue ones will cause the Quaffid
to fight you instead of shrink.

In the area past the Quaffid, Solt, Peppor, and another Acacia Dragoon
Deva named Zoah will attack.

== BOSS FIGHT == Zoah (Round 1), Solt (Round 3A), Peppor (Round 3B) ===

Defense/MagDef: 0/0, 0/0, 0/5           Steal (Common): see bestiary
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Solt and Peppor will talk about Summon Elements this time. They fail,
of course. Focus your attacks and green elements on Zoah first, then
on the two others.
=======================================================================

Get the Heal element to the right of the tree, then continue into the
hole in it. In here, get the MagmaBomb on the right, then continue up.
Watch out for the Gloops that fall from the ceiling. In the next
screen, Gerridae hop out from the hole in the wall. Defeat the Wraith
to get upstream, and push the boulder in front of the hole. Continue
on and you'll reach your destination. Wait until nightfall, and then
enter Viper Manor. Skip the next section.

This is Pierre's path. If you chose Guile or Nikki, scroll up to their
corresponding sections.

Green elements are your best friend here. All the enemies you will
fight are of yellow innate, so if you're equipped with lots of the
opposite, you'll have a much easier time.

Pierre attempts to get inside, but he fails. You have two options: to
think of another plan, or to charge. If you think of another plan, you
will have to fight two groups of guards. Charge, and you will only face
one. The following boss fight is as if you only fought the first group
of Acacia Guards. You will only receive one star, no matter how many
guards you fight.

== BOSS FIGHT == Acacia Guards ========================================
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
HP: 70 (PVT), 84 (SGT) Drop (Common): see bestiary
Innate: Yellow Drop (Rare): see bestiary
Attack/Magic:   13/10, 14/10            Steal (Common): see bestiary
Defense/MagDef: 0/1, 0/2                Steal (Rare): see bestiary
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

There will be both PVTs and SGTs in this battle. The SGTs will be
stronger, so you should take them out first. Use physical attacks and
green elements and you should be fine.
=======================================================================

Afterwards, Solt and Peppor will come out, back with a new friend.

== BOSS FIGHT == Solt (Round 3B), Peppor (Round 3B), Ketchop ==========
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
HP: 260, 80, 90 Drop (Common): see bestiary
Innate: Yellow Drop (Rare): see bestiary
Attack/Magic:   20/11, 9/7, 10/5        Steal (Common): see bestiary
Defense/MagDef: 0/0 Steal (Rare): see bestiary
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

At the beginning of the battle, Ketchop will kill one of your
characters at random. However, Solt will revive them. Use all your Tech
Skills and green elements on Ketchop. Later on in the battle, he uses
Solt and Peppor as weapons against you. But while doing this, he knocks
the two out of the fight. You'll win eventually.
=======================================================================

Get the TurnYellow element behind the gate. Wait for nightfall, and
then enter Viper Manor.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

At night, you'll have to sneak around. There are spotlights everywhere,
so be sure to avoid them or you'll be attacked right away by guards.
The front doors are locked so you'll need the key. Go around to the
back, to the stables.

Tell the keeper that you are the new people he hired. Feed the dragons
ten times to get the Manor Key out of his back cupboard. If you can
do more, you will win the following prizes:

10 times - Knee Pad You will never be able to get to 100
20 times - Bronze Helmet at this stage. However, after completing
30 times - Bronze Mail a new game, you can return here with a
40 times - RecoverAll special time-changing device and feed
100 times - Iron Vest them in slow motion.

Before returning to the front of the manor, get the TurnBlue from the
hallway on the right of the manor, then go around and get the
x1Ointments from the northwest corner. Now go inside.

Be careful when walking about the manor. There are enemies on the
ceiling that will drop down on you if you walk on the carpet. Try to
avoid it. Also, be aware of certain doors that have a large blinking
eye. If you try to open the doors while the eye is open, you will have
to face a monster called a Portalgheist. These are fairly good enemies,
and you may have trouble defeating them. Just make sure their eyes are
closed before entering a room.

Inside, both doors are locked, so you'll have to attempt to open the
main one by entering a two-digit code on the snake statue. However, no
matter what you enter, you will be wrong and will fall through the
floor to a cell where some guards will poke fun at you. Kid will
challenge them to a fight, and after winning, you will dress in their
suits.

The actual prison is down the stairs, but you can't enter without
permission. The chest down here is not actually a treasure, but two
enemies called Boxer Boys. If you choose the right one by attacking,
you'll receive a prize. But if you don't, you'll have to fight them.

Go left of the holding cell, and into the first door. This is the
eating area. You'll hear a private telling Glenn the password to open
the front door. Go into the kitchen next door and get the TurnGreen
element in the back of where the cook is working, and the Dragoon's
Honor in the corner of the eating area. Then follow Glenn out into the
next door, the sleeping quarters.

Glenn writes the code on the north wall. Read it, and remember it. Go
to the second room of the quarters and get the Revive element at the
bottom. There is a Record of Fate in here, so use it if necessary.
Continue upstairs.

There are two doors here. One is locked, and the other has a harlequin
sleeping on a couch. Get the TurnBlack in the back of the room. There
is a Roborg blocking the way out. If your party is very strong, you can
fight it. But you're best off going back down and to the other side.

On the bottom right level of the manor, there is another Roborg
guarding the hallway, and the only other door is guarded. Approach the
guards and they will ask you for the password. Do not do anything, and
they will let you in, since the password is silence.

Inside, get the Bronze Sword, Bronze Mail, and Hero's Shield off the
back wall. If you recruited Pierre, give him the Hero's Shield to
greatly increase his stats. Get the TurnRed element before examining
the Silver Pendant on the wall. No matter what way you choose to grab
it, it's a trap, and you'll be hurtled into a cage in the next room.
The scientist in here named Luccia will let you out of the trap, but
she makes you fight her latest experiment.

== BOSS FIGHT == Neo-N-Bulbs ==========================================
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
HP: 160 each Drop (Common): AeroSaucer
Innate:         Green                   Drop (Rare): EagleEye
Attack/Magic:   28/10                   Steal (Common): Seed
Defense/MagDef: 4/1                     Steal (Rare): Heal
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

These aren't like the Bulbs in the Shadow Forest. They are harder to
defeat and use more powerful elements. Use Tech Skills and yellow
elements to wear them down.
=======================================================================

After defeating them, quietly release the lock on the creature named
Pip's cage (if you want to recruit him later). As you are leaving,
Luccia offers to help out some other time.

Enter the next room. In here, there are many traps, so be careful.
First, get the Bronze Shield, then take the Decor Shield on the wall
and place it on the statue missing a shield. You'll have to fight
Man-O-Wars, but it's for a good cause. After the battle, push the snake
statue into the slot. This will open up a secret room, but don't go
inside unless you want your party members to lose 10 HP each. Leave and
continue up the stairs.

In the first room, you'll find Zoah. You can talk to him, but you won't
be able to get in his treasure chest until you recruit him later.

In the next room is Karsh. At first, he won't let you have what's in
the chest, but try to open it 20 times. On the 20th time, he will give
in and let you have the Dragoon Gauntlet inside.

Head back out to the main hallway. Use the code that Glenn wrote down
to open the door. Go up the stairs.

There is another Roborg blocking the right door, but it's defective
and you can't fight it. Go through the left one to the library, where
the Prophet will explain everything that's going on. During this
conversation, a little girl named Marcy (one of the Devas) is just
dying to kill you. After the prophet is done talking, you battle her.

== BOSS FIGHT == Marcy (Round 1) ======================================
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
HP:             525                     Drop (Common): IceBlast
Innate:         Blue                    Drop (Rare): Iron
Attack/Magic: 30/5 Steal (Common): Silver Loupe
Defense/MagDef: 0/0                     Steal (Rare): Dancing
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Despite her size, Marcy is a powerful boss. Don't underestimate her.
Red elements are your best friend. Put Kid in your party for this
battle. Wear away at her with Tech Skills and have all your characters
use their strongest attacks. I was almost not able to beat her on the
first try, but keep at it and you should defeat her.
=======================================================================

Marcy will run away. The Prophet tells you how to lower a platform in
the throne room. Go to the balcony of the library and get the TurnWhite
element.

After going back, the harlequin you saw earlier named Harle appears.
She flirts with Serge and makes Kid angry. When she leaves, follow the
Prophet's directions and press the button behind the second pillar on
the left. The guards will be angry and they will attack. Go up on the
platform (the switch is on the armrest) and SAVE YOUR GAME. Allocate an
even amount of white elements to your characters, and enter the center
room.

In here, Kid will find the Dragon Tear. However, General Viper and
Lynx, Kid's archrival, will emerge from the secret doorway in the back.
After a strange conversation, Lynx fights the party.

== BOSS FIGHT == Lynx (Shadow) ========================================
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
HP:             820                     Drop (Common):Pendragon Sigil C
Innate:         Black                   Drop (Rare): Gravitonne
Attack/Magic: 26/10 Steal (Common): Magic Ring
Defense/MagDef: 1/7 Steal (Rare): Power Glove
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

This battle will be tough for you, without a doubt. You should gain up
your element level first, then try to cast Turn- elements on Lynx so
you can use different color elements to your advantage. Later in the
fight, Lynx starts casting HellBound on characters. The effect of this
all depends on the field effect. If there is black in it, it has a
greater chance to immediately kill your character. Attack Lynx with a
barrage of different color elements and he will go down eventually.
=======================================================================

After the battle, the Lynx you just fought will change into a shadow.
The real one will come out, and talk about Serge's existence. Riddel
will enter the room, and Kid will hold her hostage. They walk out, but
Karsh and some other dragoons come up the staircase. The party walks to
ard the balcony, where it becomes obvious they cannot escape. Kid looks
over the side and while she is distracted, Lynx throws a dagger. Serge
ducks, but it nicks Kid in the arm. Releasing Riddel, she limply falls
over the edge. Lynx wants Serge to come to him, but Serge and other
party member jump over the side as well, leaving Lynx and the others
behind.

You have a major decision to make in Guldove. Kid has been poisoned by
the dagger that Lynx threw at her, and the only thing that can save her
is to find the Hydra Humour. It's completely your choice. You can
choose to find the Humour and save Kid, or give up and move on. Either
way, she will be okay in the end. For each decision, there is a certain
group of characters you can recruit. The other ones for the decision
you didn't make will never be available again. Choose wisely. For more
information on each character, go to the characters section.

If you decide not to save Kid, you can skip the Hydra Marshes (Home)
section below. Also, if you refuse, Korcha will refuse to help you and
will take back the Astral Amulet. However, Macha, his mother, will aid
you. She gives you the Tropical Paradise Frame.

Before leaving Guldove, talk to the element trader outside of Doc's
hut. She will give you a Pelvic Bone, one of the parts needed to
rebuild Skelly. Go the bar to witness a scene with Orlha and Doc.
Visit the Shrine Maiden, then return to the bar. A dwarf will be there,
and talk to it twice to receive the Green Tinkler. You will need this
in the Hydra Marshes if you decide to save Kid. Go to Korcha's house
and go around to the hidden room where you will find a Feathery Dress.
Head to Termina to take care of some business.

If you chose Guile as your guide to Viper Manor, return to the fortune
teller in the marketplace. He will give Guile a Brass Rod.

that was locked before, and take the Daemon Charm inside. Go to the
entry hall and go up the stairs. Go to the library and go through the
secret door behind the Prophet of Time's desk. Down below, talk to the
BeachBum for the Porre's Furnace Frame. Backtrack and go up the
platform to the balcony, where you will find Luccia. Talk to her, then
get the Sight Scope from the platform above you.

NEW CHARACTER - Luccia
Follow Luccia back down to her lab. Talk to her again to recruit her.
Put her in your group and then examine her desk for a Silver Earring.

             Bushwhacker
             BatEye
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

As Doc said in Guldove, in this world, all Hydras have gone extinct.
This has led to the waters being poisoned. Without proper protection,
your party's HP will drop while you are wading through the swamp. To
prevent this, proceed left up the winding stalk path, and at the end,
talk to the man in purple. He will give you some Safety Gear, which
will prevent HP loss here. Go back down, getting the ElectroJolt on the
way back down.

If you received the Green Tinkler from the dwarf in Guldove, using it
will cause the green plants to bend and allow you to pass. Without it,
they will whip your characters, causing damage.

Get the 5 x1Tablets in the chest next to the path leading up to the
fungal stalks. Go up to the next area. Here, get the Bushwhacker on the
left. Use the Green Tinkler on the plant and get the Seed from the
chest. Continue up.

Here, get the Carapace at the bottom of the swamp. In the next screen,
get the Copper and BatEye. Exit from the northeast corner and get the
Life Sparkle here. This is the main item you came here for. Go back and
exit through the southeast corner.

Get the Good Backbone in the cave, and then get the x1Tablets in the
chest. Don't exit from the left, but from the bottom of the screen
instead. As you slide down this slippery path, get the Copper. Now you
can exit the marshes and head back to Viper Manor.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

THE EVENTS IN THIS SECTION ONLY OCCUR IF YOU CHOSE TO SAVE KID.

After leaving Viper Manor, go to Opassa Beach and use the Astral Amulet
on the wormhole in the ground. You will be transported to the Home
World. Leave the beach, and head east towards the Hydra Marshes.

You will need three party members to enter these Marshes. You don't
need Safety Gear here, and the monsters are not as tough to defeat. You
also don't need the Green Tinkler.

In this screen, get the Feather on your right and the Bone in front of
you. You'll have to go around. Continue up the fungal stalks by exiting
on the left. Get the 5 x1Braces in the chest, then continue on to the
next screen where you will meet a creature called a Beeba. It
challenges you. During battle, it will call up to five Beebas to aid
it, so take it out fast. After the battle, it apologizes and gives you
the Beeba Flute, an essential item for later in the game.

In this screen, talk to the Beeba and answer that you are strong. Use
the same strategy in this battle as the last one. If you are
successful, you will be able to get the Bushbasher in the chest behind
it.

Allocate any available Yellow elements to your grid before blowing the
Beeba Flute in the circular clearing. When you're ready, use the flute
and a creature called a Wingapede will appear and fight you.

== BOSS FIGHT == Wingapede ============================================
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
HP:             430                     Drop (Common): AeroSaucer
Innate:         Green                   Drop (Rare): Leather
Attack/Magic: 32/8 Steal (Common): Antitoxinal Cap
Defense/MagDef: 12/3                    Steal (Rare): Iron
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Use the IceBlast element to freeze Wingapede, and use all your strong
yellow elements. This battle isn't hard.
=======================================================================

After bringing the Wingapede crashing down, one of your characters will
remark on how the platform might collapse under your combined weight.
You should save your game at the Record of Fate where the Beeba was.
Step into the center of the clearing and it will collapse. You will
land on top of a huge creature and knock it unconscious. Talking to the
fairy in the cage will awaken the monster and you will have to fight
it.

== BOSS FIGHT == Pentapus =============================================
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
HP:             600                     Drop (Common): AquaBall
Innate:         Blue                    Drop (Rare): IceBlast
Attack/Magic:   36/10                   Steal (Common): N/A
Defense/MagDef: 15/5                    Steal (Rare): N/A
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Pentapus, being of Blue Innate, tends to avoid red attacks and Tech
Skills. Be sure to use the Turn- elements in this battle. If you do use
a Red Innate character, equip them with items that increase their Hit%
such as the Sight Scope you got at Viper Manor.
=======================================================================

=======================================================================
NEW CHARACTER - Razzly
After the battle, open the fairy's cage. Her name is Razzly, and for
saving her, she gladly joins your party.
=======================================================================

Get the RecoverAll element in the chest, then go up the ladder and
leave this cave. Out here, get the AeroSaucer, and go up. Continue on,
then in the screen where the Dwarfs are, get the 5 x1Antidotes and
Medicines. Talk to the Dwarfs guarding an exit. They are blocking your
way to the Hydra, so fight them.

== BOSS FIGHT == Hi-Ho Dwarves (Dwarves, DaffyDwarves, DaggyDwarves)===
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
HP: 140, 90, 100 Drop (Common): see bestiary
Innate: Yellow Drop (Rare): see bestiary
Attack/Magic:   19/8, 18/8, 20/8        Steal (Common): see bestiary
Defense/MagDef: 1/2 Steal (Rare): see bestiary
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

When there are six dwarves on the battlefield, they will use the
attack Hi-HoChorus which will hurt your party pretty badly. Take them
out using Tech Skills and Green elements. If Razzly is in your party,
she will help you have an advantage. This battle shouldn't be very
hard either.
=======================================================================

Continue on, and you will find the Hydra. Of course, there is a fight
involved. You didn't think it would be that easy, did you?

== BOSS FIGHT == Hydra ================================================

There is one thing you really should take note of: DON'T USE YELLOW
ELEMENTS. They will heal the Hydra instead of damaging it, and that
can't be good. Use as many green elements you have, including the
Bushbasher you found earlier. If you have a yellow innate character in
your group, give them any Revives you may have, since they will most
likely be the last one standing. Pound away at the Hydra, and you will
defeat it eventually.
=======================================================================

After the battle, examine the Hydra's carcass for the Hydra Humour.
Backtrack one screen and exit from the lower right. Get the 5
x1Ointments here, then leave through the left path. Press X on the
plant and jump down. Get the Cure element, and continue down to the
first screen. Leave the marshes and head back to Opassa Beach. Warp
back to Another World. Find your boat and head back to Guldove.

Take the Hydra Humour to Doc right away. He uses it to save Kid, and
she joins your party again. Korcha's sister named Mel will steal Kid's
elements. If you don't want to find more elements for her to allocate,
search the city for her. She will eventually be cornered in the
residential tower, where she will give Kid's elements back. This is the
only way she will join your party later, so I recommend finding her.
Leave town and head for Termina.

When returning to Termina, Korcha leaves the party. Go to the entrance
of town and witness another conversation with Glenn. He will give you
clues and advice about following Viper and his men to Fort Dragonia.
Then head back to the boat. Talk to Korcha about what Glenn said and he
will lend you his boat permanently. However, he wants a favor from Kid
in return... for her to be his wife! Kid doesn't seem happy with this,
and gets angry at Serge when he tries to make suggestions. Kid says
she'll think about it. For now, get the boat and head for Hermit's
Hideaway, the island north of the mainland.

No matter what path you chose in Guldove, Glenn will suggest that you

appears that Harle and Lynx have already burned down the home here!
Upon arriving, Harle will confront your party in what seems like a boss
battle. It's not though because you don't receive a Star. Just attack
Harle physically and white elements and you should be fine.

Harle leaves, and the resident (Radius) appears. In this world, Radius
is not the chief of Arni Village and lives alone on this island. He
allows you to rest in the bunker underground, and then clues you in on
a mysterious ghost ship and the Porre Army. After listening to him,
leave the island and head for the cloud of mist near Mount Pyre.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

When you enter the cloud of mist, a pirate ship will emerge. On board,
your party will be attacked by pirates. After you explain your mission
to find Lynx, the captain named Fargo will decide to challenge you to
test your strength, to see if you're ready for Lynx. These battles can
get tough, but they don't earn you any stars, so they're not actually
boss battles. First, Fargo will command a few Man-O-Wars on you. Use
Serge's attacks and white elements to take them out. After this, a
giant bird creature named Polly will fight you. Use blue elements on
it. Angered, Fargo will attack you himself. This time, use red
characters and elements. Even if you can manage to get through all the
trials, your party will be shot with tranquilizers and you will fall
unconscious and be taken below deck. When you wake up, strange events
are happening around the ship. Some Crossbones will run in and attack.
The rest of the enemies you will fight will be of Innate Black, so
Serge will have the advantage over them when attacking. Before leaving
the room, allocate white elements to all your characters and save your
game.

All around the ship, pirates are being attacked by enemies. Help them
out by running into the attackers. The door to the deck is locked, so
you'll need the key. Get the FirePillar element at the other end of the
hallway, then ascend the ladder to the next level of the ship.

The ship is on fire in some places. Go into the door on the right and
get the x1Panaceas. Climb through the vent in the back corner. In here,
get the x1Capsules. The pirates have barricaded entry to the deck, so
you'll have to go down and around the outside of the ship. Downstairs,
a room that was locked previously is now open. Help the pirate inside,
and he will give you the key to the hold. Get the AquaBall in here
before leaving. In the hallway, go through the door on the far right
and use the key to open the door.

Go past the cannons, out the door and down the ladder. Go along the
bottom of the ship, into the hold. In here you'll find Pip, who stowed
onboard to pursue his life's dream. Follow him from corner to corner,
getting the x1Capsules and the Gravitonne along the way, until you
corner him. He will join your group, but you should avoid placing him
in your party since he is also a white Innate. Go up the stairs and get
the PhotonBeam. Go up the ladders and stairs until you reach the deck,
where more pirates are fighting. There is a creature at the front of
the ship and Fargo commands you to take the wheel.

== BOSS FIGHT == DeadHead =============================================

Defense/MagDef: 15/8 Steal (Rare): Bronze Axe
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

At first this battle looks like 5 DeadBeats, but then they come
together to form an all new monster, which is tougher to defeat.
DeadHead will cast Diminish on your party, so wait until it wears off
to cast white elements. Black elements will heal the enemy, so just use
the other colors.
=======================================================================

After the battle, you are allowed to leave the ship. You won't be able
to cross through Mount Pyre to get to the Fort, so you'll need to pay a
visit to the Water Dragon for a special item.

about you. If you have the other Leena in your party, get her in your
group and talk to the Home World Leena. It's entertaining to watch them

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you chose to save Kid and recruited Razzly, she will see her family
being slaughtered here and feel sad. The dwarves from the Hydra Marshes
are choosing to live here and conquer here since they were driven from
the marshes. Try to rid the entire area of the creatures.

But before you get to that, get the items in the first screen. The
directions refer to the lily pad you should go on while on the land.

1) AquaBall - first, top, bottom, top. Go up the path and up the ladder
to get the AquaBall.

2) IceBlast - first, top, top, bottom, bottom, go up the ladder and
down the next one to get the IceBlast.

3) Iron - on the pathl leading to the next area, go under the arch to
your right and search under the waterfall.

Save your game, then head up the path to find the dwarves, causing
havoc among the fairies. The Dwarf Chieftain will run away, further
into the isle.

Get the Nimble in the shadows in the lower right corner of the screen.
Take out as many dwarves as you can, then continue up the ladder to the
inside of the isle.

Dwarves are wandering around in here. The Chieftain commands a group of
dwarves to attack.

== BOSS FIGHT == Hi-Ho Dwarves (Dwarves, DaffyDwarves, DaggyDwarves) ==
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
HP: 150, 130, 140 Drop (Common): see bestiary
Innate: Yellow Drop (Rare): see bestiary
Attack/Magic:   18/7, 16/7, 20/7        Steal (Common): see bestiary
Defense/MagDef: 0/2 Steal (Rare): see bestiary
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

This battle is almost identical to the Hydra Marshes one, but the
dwarves have more health. Try to focus all your attacks on one dwarf to
take it out so the group can't cast Hi-HoChorus together. Use green
elements to take them out.
=======================================================================

The Chieftain isn't finished though, and he runs off even further into
the isle. First, go up the ladder in the back of the area and go
outside to get a Magic Ring. Go back inside, down the long ladder next
to the waterfall and into the next area.

There is another Record of Fate here, so save if necessary. Go down the
two ladders and fight the dwarf under the waterfall. After defeating
him, go into the small cave he was blocking and get the Scaley Dress.
At the bottom of the falls, run off to the right. The Chieftain is back
again, but this battle is much harder than before.

== BOSS FIGHT == Hi-Ho Tank ===========================================
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
HP: 1000 Drop (Common): Knee Pad

Attack/Magic:   28/12                   Steal (Common): Screw
Defense/MagDef: 14/5 Steal (Rare): Knee Pad
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Allocate as many healing elements as you can. Focus all your attacks
on the Tank. The two dwarves on the side won't do much harm. The
Chieftain launches the Tank at one character at a time, causing several
status effects. Use your strongest green elements and Tech Skills to
take the tank down. Once it gets worn down, the Chieftain will order
repairs and it will regain health. At this point, take the time to do
the same thing with an element that heals all your characters at once.
This battle may take you a while, but you can do it.
=======================================================================

Enter the next chamber where the Water Dragon is residing. To aid you,
he gives you the Ice Breath, as well as the Summon Element FrogPrince.
These will be of good use for you later. When you leave, the fairies
blame humans for what happened and ask the party to leave. Kid faints
and awakens later on at a campfire. She explains a bit about her past.
In the morning, go back and talk to the fisherman, who comes back. He
will take you back to Arni Village, where you can leave and switch
worlds at Opassa Beach. Return to Mount Pyre when you get to Another
World.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

You're best off having a red innate character, as well as lots of blue
elements. All the non-boss characters are red.

Mount Pyre is full of flowing magma. Get into it and you'll lose 10 HP
for every second you remain inside. But in some cases it's the only way
to get some items. If you are confident you will be able to heal
yourself, wade through the magma and get the MagmaBurst on the left.
Otherwise, use the Ice Breath to freeze all magma in this area so you
can walk across it. Go up the left path. There is a CatBurglar guarding
a treasure chest, so kill it and get the 5 x1Tablets. Continue up.

Here you'll find Solt and Peppor (again) who challenge the party.

== BOSS FIGHT == Solt (Round 4), Peppor (Round 4) =====================
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
HP: 150, 180 Drop (Common): see bestiary

Defense/MagDef: 0/5 Steal (Common): see bestiary
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

As always, there's no challenge to any battle with the two. This time,
they talk about Trap Elements and the uses. You know the drill:
physical attacks, green elements. There shouldn't be any problem here.
=======================================================================

After the battle, go right. Use the Ice Breath to freeze the lava flow,
then go down the one on the left. Walk to the chest and open it for a
MagmaBomb. Later on, come back here and a new cave will have opened,
leading to some new items. But for now, slide down the ice and continue
on. At the area where you fought Solt and Peppor, continue straight. In
the next screen, get the V Inferno from the left, the x1Tablets from
the right, and the x1Capsules from the rock. Continue up through the
blue door, where you will find a very powerful boss.

== BOSS FIGHT == Fire Dragon (Round 1) ================================
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
HP:             850                     Drop (Common): Weaken
Innate: Red Drop (Rare): Magic Ring
Attack/Magic: 45/31 Steal (Common): Magic Ring
Defense/MagDef: 20/22 Steal (Rare): Wisp Cape
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

He may look small, but this boss packs a lot of power. First, the Fire
Dragon will use Weaken and Strengthen to decrease your attack power and
increase his. It's a good idea to use Turn- elements in this battle,
and IceBlast will help a lot too. If you want to summon FrogPrince,
you'll have a hard time. The Fire Dragon will constantly cast red
elements, changing the field effect. Even if you do manage to turn it
all blue, you don't have 7 element levels on your grid yet, which is
the default for FrogPrince. If you allocated it, you probably put it on
5, which would decrease its power a lot. Keep a steady pace of
attacking with Tech Skills and blue elements, and the Dragon should
fall.
=======================================================================

He bids you goodbye. Backtrack, save your game, and continue up.

The exit is ahead, but the three Devas prevent you from going any
further.

== BOSS FIGHT == Marcy (Round 2), Zoah (Round 2), Karsh (Round 2) =====
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
HP: 300, 436, 370 Drop (Common): see bestiary

Defense/MagDef: 16/11, 12/7, 13/9       Steal (Rare): see bestiary
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you have Glenn in your party, the Devas will recognize him right
away. His and Serge's Double Tech, X-Strike will be of good use in this
battle. Zoah is the strongest, so take him out first. Marcy is your
next target, since she will inflict status abnormalities on you. Karsh
will hurt you, but not as much as the others. This battle might take a
while, but it's pretty easy overall.

Kid, and another character came to defeat Lynx.

If you chose to save Kid, a dragoon will block your way into Fort
Dragonia. Both paths will lead up to 15 stars and your level 5 Tech
Skill. If you don't have that many, you will after this battle. If you
chose not to save Kid, skip this boss battle.

== BOSS FIGHT == Dragoon ==============================================

Defense/MagDef: 39/10 Steal (Rare): Gold Earring
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

This boss is accompanied by an Acacia PVT, but don't worry about him.
Focus all your efforts on the Dragoon. If you don't, your characters
will be devastated with his attacks. Red Tech Skills will damage him,
but red elements will heal. Use your best blue elements and you should
be fine.
=======================================================================

Examine the pedestal to open the fort. Cross the bridge and save your
game at the Record of Fate at the bottom of this central room. To get
to the upper level of the fort where your destination is, you will have
to deactivate four crystals found through the doors. Of course, it
won't be easy. There are complicated puzzles for each, and a boss fight
for two of the four. The doors are referred to like this:

    Door 4       Door 3
        |          |
        ----O O---- ...or something like that.
Door 2       O       Door 1
      \-----O O-----/

They should be entered in their corresponding order. So enter Door 1.
There is no boss fight here, so you're in luck.

In this room, there are 4 gaps in the floor that each lead to
something. The top gap leads to an area where you'll just have to fight
enemies, the left gap leads to a red pyramid that cures status effects
and restores star levels, the bottom gap leads to treasure, and the
right gap leads to the crystal. The key to success in this room is that
no matter what direction the dragon statue faces (which is random),
it's considered North and the direction you choose is always according
to the dragon. Example: if the dragon is facing to the right, choosing
"East" would take you to the bottom gap, "South" would take you to the
left one, "West" would take you to the top, and "North" would take you
to the right. The gap will always take you to the same place, but the
direction changes. Figure it out. ^_^

Whenever you are finished in an area, walk out the left, climb up and
do it again. Choose the bottom gap and collect the FirePillar,
MagmaBurst, and V Volcano elements, as well as a Flame Charm. Go up and
choose the right gap. Deactivate the crystal, and leave.

Go through Door 2. This area also doesn't have a boss battle, so lucky
you. This area's puzzle involves the party's order. First, cross the
entire area so you enter a room with three green circles. The game will
tell you which character is the head, which is the body, and which is
the tail. In order to reach the yellow crystal and the treasures,
you'll need to switch characters. This table displays the outcome for
switching your party in the blue device located just outside this room.
It reverses the last two characters. You will have to press Select to
switch the entire party order afterwards. You'll get the hang of it...

Head, Body, Tail Raises block near side room, press blue button to
                    create staircase.
Body, Tail, Head Raises block to chest containing Earth Charm.
Tail, Head, Body Raises block to chest with ElectroBolt.
Body, Tail, Head   Blocks path.
Head, Tail, Body   Blocks path.
Tail, Body, Head Raises block to the control panel, sinks yellow
                    crystal.

Do everything in order, that way you can leave as soon as you
deactivate the crystal. To get your party back to normal again, use the
Tele-Porter at the Record of Fate. You're halfway there... now head
into Door #3.

You should be in an area of what seems to be like a maze of stairs and
platforms. Follow these instructions carefully to get through
successfully to the crystal.

1) Continue straight until you reach the next screen.
2) Go down the staircase and under the arch.
3) Go through the next arch and up the stairs.
4) Collect the HealAll and Bushbasher elements up here.
5) Go down and up the staircase on the other side of the arch.
6) Follow this pathway until you reach the 5 x1Antidotes.
7) Return to where you came in from.
8) Go up the staircase on your right and follow the path.
9) Get the V Tornado element at the end of the curved path below you.
10) Go up and through the door at the top of the screen.
11) You should be next to an elevated pathway. Go down the staircase.
12) Get the AeroBlaster, then go back and go up the other staircase.
13) Follow this path until you get to a blue button.
14) Press it to lower a small staircase.
15) Continue until you reach the crystal, where you will find a boss.

Innate: Green Drop (Rare): Iron Vest
Attack/Magic:   43/6                    Steal (Common): V Tornado
Defense/MagDef: 40/0                    Steal (Rare): V Sonya
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you have a Tornado trap element, set it now because Taurusoid may
attempt to damage you with it. If you don't, your party will lose a lot
of HP, plus you'll miss out on an awesome element. Use the usual:
yellow elements, Tech Skills, Double Techs.
=======================================================================

Deactivate the crystal and leave the area. Go through the final door.

This room involves opening and closing several empty (unfortunately)
treasure chests to move the two platforms on opposite sides of the
room. There is only one treasure in here. Follow these directions:

1) Proceed to the chests in the lower-left corner.
2) Close the right treasure chest.
3) Open the left one.
4) Cross to the upper-right corner.
5) Continue to the upper-left corner.
6) Open both chests.
7) Go back to the upper-right corner.
8) Go across the platforms to a room where you'll find a Sea Charm.
9) Go back to the upper-right corner.
10) Close the left chest.
11) Open the right chest.
12) Cross and press the blue button to lower the staircase.
13) Enter the door and fight GiantGloop.

Note: The middle door on the right side just contains a Dragoon and
you don't get anything for fighting it. So don't bother.

== BOSS FIGHT == GiantGloop ===========================================
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
HP:             800                     Drop (Common): AquaBall
Innate:         Blue                    Drop (Rare): IceBlast
Attack/Magic: 42/14 Steal (Common): Antiviral Cap
Defense/MagDef: 60/0                    Steal (Rare): N/A
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

First, use all your available red elements. Then use any Turn- elements
available to make the others effective. When GiantGloop casts
BlueField, immediately cast another color element, no matter how
ineffective. GiantGloop will be extra effective in its attacks if the
field effect is entirely blue.
=======================================================================

Deactivate the crystal and exit the area.

A shaft will have appeared. Save your game before entering, then get
ready for another boss fight. Equip as many black elements as possible.

== BOSS FIGHT == SunOfAGun ============================================
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
HP:             365                     Drop (Common): Iron
Innate:         White                   Drop (Rare): N/A
Attack/Magic:   47/12                   Steal (Common): Screw
Defense/MagDef: 68/50                   Steal (Rare): N/A
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Although he has low health, check out those stats! This guy can kill
you easily if you don't act fast. SunOfAGun's attack ferocity seems to
depend on the way he's looking. If he's happy, use physical attacks to
build element power. If he's sad, he will most likely use ShineOn which
will inflict status abnormalities on your party. But if he's angry and
shaking, get ready for a barrage of strong white elements. Use black
elements like crazy, and you should take this creepy creature out.
=======================================================================

Deactivate the white crystal. This lowers the elevator platform. Going
down just takes you to a bunch of incubators that aren't working. Go up
and you will be in the same area as Serge's dream. Go left to overlook
the black crystal. Go back and you'll emerge in the large chamber. Go
down, up the stairs to the left, down again, down the other set of
stairs, and follow the path, leaving the main chamber. Here, go up the
staircase and through the door at the other end. Go down the staircase
next to you and out the other door outside to find an Angel Charm. Go
back then go straight along the path, until you reach the room at the
other side. Be sure to pick up the Daemon Charm along the way. You'll
have to fight another boss here.

== BOSS FIGHT == Bunyip (two forms) ===================================
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
HP: 1600 Drop (Common): N/A, Gravitonne
Innate: Red, then Black Drop (Rare): N/A, HellBound
Attack/Magic:   43/15, 52/15            Steal (Common): FreeFall
Defense/MagDef: 20/0, 35/10             Steal (Rare): V BlackHole
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Serge will be at a disadvantage in this battle, but he will also
probably cause the most damage. Use his Tech Skills ASAP. After taking
400 damage, Bunyip will transform into its second form, a more stronger
version with Black innate. If you have a FreeFall trap, set it because
you will not take damage and get a great element at the same time.
=======================================================================

Deactivate the crystal. A staircase lowers, leading to the platform in
the center of the room.Now head back, going under the bridge, up the
staircase on the right, and onto the circular platform. Press X to
teleport upwards. Open the door, and you will be in the area where the
dragons materialized with the deactivation of each crystal. The Dragon
Tear is in here. Viper and Lynx have been waiting for you. Viper says
he must fight anyone who attempts to interfere with his plans, so he
fights you first.

== BOSS FIGHT == Viper ================================================
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
HP: 820 Drop (Common): Dragoon Gauntlet
Innate: Yellow Drop (Rare): Mythril Mail
Attack/Magic: 46/16 Steal (Common): Stamina Ring
Defense/MagDef: 30/15                   Steal (Rare): N/A
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Viper actually isn't that hard to defeat... use Tech Skills, green
elements, and FrogPrince to finish him off. The real challenge lies in
the battle ahead.
=======================================================================

Viper claims he's just warming up, but Lynx steps in and stabs Viper.
He attempts to take you out as well.

== BOSS FIGHT == Lynx =================================================
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
HP: 1000 Drop (Common): PendragonSigil B
Innate: Black Drop (Rare): Sky Djinn Ring
Attack/Magic:   60/17                   Steal (Common): PendragonSigilB
Defense/MagDef: 31/29 Steal (Rare): Sky Djinn Ring
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

You know the drill. Use white elements, Techs and Double Techs against
Lynx. Lynx will also use some strong white elements aside from his
innate, so if you have AntiWhite, use it (although the opposite won't).

A trick you can use is to Run Away during the first battle. Allocate
better elements, etc. and then fight him again. This time, Lynx won't
heal himself with Nostrums and won't use elements as much. Keep it up
and you should end the battle. But he's not finished yet...
=======================================================================

Lynx talks about Serge's existence again, then, looking into the Dragon
Tear, Serge falls. Something strange has happened. All of a sudden, he
rises again, apparently fine. They have a rematch, but for some reason,
you play as Lynx instead of Serge. You are not meant to win this
battle, and the characters seem to be MUCH stronger this time around.
Afterwards, "Serge" offers to finish off Lynx, but Kid stops him when
she hears him say the name of Lucca. She doesn't trust him and begins
to suspect he isn't really Serge. He stabs her in the same FMV as the
beginning, while Lynx watches in disbelief.

Here's the deal: Lynx has done something to switch you and himself.
Lynx is now in your body, and you are in his. The character will now be
referred to as Lynx. Serge knocks out the third character in the party
and takes the Dragon Tear. In a shockwave that blows up all the dragon
statues in the room, you are knocked out and everything goes black.

From this point on, you will be playing as Lynx. The characters you
recruited will not be with you anymore, so you will need to recruit
more. Who knows what could happen, now that you have switched places?

If you listened, Lynx also gave you a hint: go to the Sea of Eden.

[ Enemies ]  TotalChaos (Black)

[ Items ]    Mythril (x2)
             Pendragon Sigil C
             ASTRAL AMULET (if not previously)

[ Elements ] Revive
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lynx regains consciousness in a strange place, sort of a world between
worlds. There is a house here, but the owner won't let you in. Follow
the path up and step on the hanging branch to shake a piece of fruit
down. While the owner, Sprigg, is out of her house collecting it, run
inside. She will find you and become a little angry. But she lets you
rest here.

=======================================================================
NEW CHARACTER - Sprigg
When you try to leave, the old lady will join your party automatically.
Sprigg is special in that she has only one Tech Skill named Doppelgang.
This ability lets her transform into monsters she has finished off
herself. You'll need a special item, the Forget-Me-Not Pot, found later
in the game, for the best results with this skill.
=======================================================================

Descend the ladder in the house to reach a Record of Fate. Go outside.
On the highest level, knock down the boulder, then go down and knock it
again. It will let you get the Revive element in the chest. Enter the
building at the top, and inside Harle will appear and talk to you about
your identity. When she disappears, a new character will appear and
walk into a door on either the top or bottom level. In order to leave
the vortex, enter the door above or below them, depending on where they
are. Repeat this to emerge in a new area.

=======================================================================
NEW CHARACTER - Harle
Harle will be waiting here and will automatically join as well.
=======================================================================

Harle also gives you the Astral Amulet, if for some reason you don't
have it. Flip the lever below the entry point. Get the two Mythrils and
the Pendragon Sigil C scattered around here, then flip the switch again
and exit through the hole at the bottom of the area.

[ Elements ] see first Hydra Marshes list
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Your party emerges in the Hydra Marshes. If you ever want to get back
to the Dimensional Vortex, come here and use the Astral Amulet. But
right now, the wormhole disappears. If you chose not to save Kid, you
never came here for the Humour and never faced any of the bosses. It's
pretty important to fight the Beeba and get the Beeba Flute since
you'll need it for later. Go back in this guide and look at the Hydra
Marshes section for the strategy on how to get items and elements.
However, the Pentapus is not here, the Dwarves aren't here, and the
Hydra is not here. You also cannot recruit Razzly, and you must get the
Safety Gear for safe travel. When you're ready, leave the Marshes and
head for Opassa Beach.

Arni's citizens are freaked out to see an all demi-human party in the
village. Visit Marge, Serge's mother, in the house and a conversation
ensues. After explaining everything to her, she talks about Serge's
past. Radius, the village chief, runs in and challenges Lynx to a
fight. It appears they have met before, and he wants a rematch.

== BOSS FIGHT == Radius ===============================================

Defense/MagDef: 38/15                   Steal (Rare): Magnify
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sprigg, being innate Green, will hold up well against Radius. He will
use white elements against Lynx and Harle, but it shouldn't be too
much. Radius only has 750 HP, so this battle shouldn't take long.
=======================================================================

=======================================================================
NEW CHARACTER - Radius
After the battle, Radius will automatically join the party.
=======================================================================

Radius suggests that you visit Termina to examine further what happened
to you. You'll first have to cross through Fossil Valley first since
you only went through in Another World.

to find the Infrared Vision Frame. Get the Mythril where the Bellflower
was, then go down to the bird's nest and get the other Mythril next to
the eggs. Leave the area and head through to Termina.

In this world, General Viper and his men have disappeared, so now the
Porre Army from the east is controlling things. Lynx will not be in
danger, however, because they recognize him. The inn is now free to
stay at, and Lisa's element shop is still open, with a large inventory.
Search around the back room and Lisa will let you know that her father
is searching for mushrooms in Shadow Forest. Go to Zappa's smithy where
he is beginning to close shop.

=======================================================================
NEW CHARACTER - Zappa
Put Radius in your party and enter the shop again. Zappa will join the
group, and he gives you the Smith Spirit, which allows you to forge
weapons anywhere on the World Map or at a Record of Fate.
=======================================================================

=======================================================================
NEW CHARACTER - Van
The mansion in Another World is one story shorter in this world. Enter
and talk to Van and his father Gogh. They have a long talk with the
landlady, then Van joins your party.

Upon entering, continue into the next screen and get the Mythril and
the x1Capsules. Continue on and search the waterfall to enter the room
behind it. Lisa's father is in here, but he won't let you get the
treasure chest behind him unless you get him a special mushroom. Exit
and keep going into the hollowed tree.

In order to get the mushroom, you have one of two options, depending on
your actions in Another World.

1) If you covered the hole with the boulder in Another World, find a
bug sitting still under the water on the right side of the tunnel. You
will scare it into getting into a hole below the boulder. A man will
jump out and give you the Mushroom.

2) If you didn't cover the hole in Another World, attack the Wraith
cornering the young person next to the cave. After winning, his father
will jump out of the hole and give you the Mushroom.

=======================================================================
NEW CHARACTER - Funguy
Take the Mushroom back to Lisa's father. He eats it and turns into a
strange mushroom man that will join your party.
=======================================================================

Get the Forest Charm he was blocking and head for Viper Manor, in
ruins.

tunnel that the stream flows from.

Get the Mythril Helmet from the central platform, then go up the ladder
in the back where the guard is standing. You will emerge in the
basement, near the prison.

=======================================================================
NEW CHARACTER - Norris
Go through to the last room, where you will find Norris. After
explaining what happened to the dragoons, he joins the party.
=======================================================================

The scene shifts to Termina, where Norris will lend you his boat. Head
to the El Nido Triangle south on the World Map. You will need to come
here for an item, needed to recruit a vital character later on.

elements and tech skills.

In order to fight the enemy here later on, you will need to get rid of
an obstacle that blocks your path.

When you enter, get the x1Capsules from the rock on the right, then
continue on. Walk up to the sand spot and you will sink into the earth,
scaring the explorers nearby.

Underneath, you have to choose one of two paths. You can go to the left
and go down the sand "waterfall" and get the Mythril, or you can go the
other way and get the other Mythril by going down the ladder. In order
to get both, you'll have to come back down again.

At the bottom of this area, there is a creature that blocks your way
further into the isle. Go back and jump into the sand boil to be shot
up back to the surface. The explorers are amazed at what you have
discovered and promise to get to work moving the object blocking your
way. If you want, go back down the quicksand to get the other Mythril.
Then leave and go to Marbule.

Fargo's ship is not a pirate ship in this world. Instead, it's a cruise
ship that many passengers go on. The ship has demi-human servants that
don't talk. The ship of the Magical Dreamers is attached to the main
ship, and in this world they serve as entertainment for the passengers.
Go below deck and find the captain's quarters where you will witness a
scene with Fargo and Irenes. Go downstairs. There is a man guarding the
Grand Slam, a game involving battling monsters (kind of like Pokemon).
He won't let you in without Fargo's permission, so keep that in mind.
Go into the door right next to you, where a demi-human asks to get
through. He is the Sage of Marbule, but he won't admit it to you. The
guard lets him in to the Grand Slam, but you can't follow him.

In the bar, an old magician named Sneff will walk out and change two
volunteers named Jack and Jill into a couch and a cat, but changes them
back. Go upstairs again and into Fargo's cabin. Ask for his permission.
He will let you in if you can beat him in the casino downstairs. But if
you lose, he gets your boat and you can't leave the ship.
Unfortunately, he cheats like crazy and you will lose, no matter what.
The object of the game is that the first person to hit south will lose.
Fargo always gets north since the game is rigged, and you'll eventually
get south.

Fargo gets your boat, so you're stuck here for now. If you want, you
can play the game again, except not Sudden Death. There is a trick to
getting North. Since the arrow spins too fast for you to tell, pause
the game while it's spinning. If the arrow is a little bit past south,
unpause and press X right away. It should land on North, getting you
more points. Here are the prizes you can get.

10,000 points:    Rainbow Shell, Denadorite
5000-9950 points: Mythril
1000-4950 points: Iron
500-950 points:   Bone

After exploring the ship thoroughly, go to the inn. Your characters
will notice something strange upon entering. The innkeeper will come
down from a ladder leading to above. There is a cat that wants to get
up there, but the innkeeper doesn't want it to.

Go to the bar again, where Sneff is about to start his next show. Your
party gets chosen as volunteers, and he changes you all into cats. Go
back to the inn and go up the ladder, where you will find the innkeeper
working a machine that spins the compass on the roulette table in the
casino. When he leaves, take the Handle from the machine. This makes
the game fair again. Go up the stairs and go into the locked kitchen
through the floor duct. Speak to the other cat in here, and it will
give you the Monster Mouth frame. Get the Frypan Ag47 out of the chest.
If you want, go to the deck and climb up to the crow's nest, where you
can cross a wire to the Magical Dreamers ship. You will witness a few
scenes here in the dressing rooms.

Head back to the bar, where Sneff's show is over. Go through the hole
on the side of the stage to the dressing room where Sneff will change
you back. Go to Fargo's cabin where he is having a conversation with
Nikki. Challenge him to another game in the casino. He will go first
and lose, and you get your boat back, as well as access to the Grand
Slam.

The Sage, who is cleaning the floors, will run from you. You will need
to chase him through each door until he finally confronts you inside.
Ask him about the Dead Sea and threaten to use brute force. The sage
fights you.

== BOSS FIGHT == Sage of Marbule ======================================

use Turn elements on you, then cast elements of the opposite color. Use
elements that affect element power in this battle, as well as all the
black innates you have.
=======================================================================

After the fight, the Sage gives you his respects and the Fiddler Crab,
a magical item that will get you into the Dead Sea.

You can now enter the Grand Slam game. It's sort of like Pokemon where
you and the opponent (in this case, a bunny-girl named Janice) battle
monsters against each other in three rounds if you win each. You
probably don't have a very wide variety to use at this point, and
Janice's monsters have a great advantage over you. But these are the
prizes you can win.

Round 1 - Stamina Belt
Round 2 - Resistance Belt
Round 3 - Dreamer's Scarf

For more monsters to use in this game, you need to have Sprigg have the
finishing blow on enemies when she is equipped with the Forget-Me-Not
Pot, found later in the game. Then you can come back here to fight
Janice again.

=======================================================================
NEW CHARACTER - Sneff
Go back to the casino and watch Sneff clear his debt. Follow him to his
dressing room and he will offer to join.
=======================================================================

Climb the mast on the deck and go to the Magical Dreamers ship. Enter
the dressing room on the bottom floor where Nikki explains his plan to
clear Marbule of ghosts and return the demi-humans to their home.

=======================================================================
NEW CHARACTER - Irenes
If you agree to help Nikki, Irenes will offer to join your party.
=======================================================================

No matter what decision you make, you will need to help them anyway. Go
to the Dead Sea. But first you'll need to get inside.

The entrance to the Dead Sea is blocked off, so use the Fiddler Crab
you got from the Sage of Marbule. The land caves away, but the evil
sword Masamune prevents the party from entering. Radius will take over
and explain that you need the holy sword Einlanzer to continue, found
at the grave of Garai in the Isle of the Damned. He advises you to go
to the place where he and Garai used to train, this world's Hermit's
Hideaway.

When you get here, Radius will retrieve something called Garai

             Earthquake
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

When you enter, get the Earthquake from the cave in the back, and the
Carapace from the southeast corner of the path. Go left through the
orange door.

Navigating the Isle of the Damned is confusing since you always emerge
in an area that looks exactly the same. To get through the mirror-like
walls, you have to use the Garai Keepsake you got from Radius. You'll
have to attempt it a few times to get into a new different screen. I'm
not sure exactly how you do it, but keep trying and you should get it
right. ^_^ You should come out of a door on the side of the area, then
use the Keepsake on the mirror above you and you should get into a new
area.

If you want to get the treasures here, you'll have to use the
WillO'Wisps to destroy the caves they are inside of. Walk near one then
have it follow you to the point where the cave is. Fight them and it
will explode, revealing the chest. In this screen, there is an Inferno
element, as well as a Golden Tiara. Go through the doorway in the
center to reach Garai's grave. He is seeking revenge and you must fight
him to get the Einlanzer.

== BOSS FIGHT == Garai ================================================
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
HP: 1987 Drop (Common): Dragoon's Honor

Defense/MagDef: 45/14                   Steal (Rare): N/A
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

This will be a very hard fight, no matter what your stats. Garai will
attack every round with white Tech Skills that will devastate your
characters. If Harle is in your party, use her MoonShine Tech to
protect your party somewhat. As you probably expect, use your best
black elements on him. Since Garai only attacks you with Techs, using
status-changing elements such as Weaken, LoRes, and MagNegate will help
you a lot.
=======================================================================

After the battle, get the Einlanzer. Head back to the Dead Sea.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Use the Einlanzer against the Masamune and it will explode, letting you
pass. What lies in the Dead Sea is a very strange picture of a city
being destroyed by the sea. However everything has frozen in time and
you can move freely about on the solidified waters. Get the AntiRed
element off the path before entering the first part of the city.

Continue along the left and into the next screen. Go up the stairs and
get the Screw from the far right of the road. Then go up the ladder on
the tower and get the other Screw there. Go across the bridge and down
the stairs on the other side. Follow the path up to find a Mythril, and
follow it down into the next screen, where you will find a FreeFall at
the end. Backtrack to where you came in, and go up the stairs in front
of you. Get the x1Capsules on the south end of the highway, then
continue north along the wreckage. A giant robot will prevent you from
going any further.

== BOSS FIGHT == Highwayman ===========================================
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
HP:             2000                    Drop (Common): Nimble
Innate:         Black                   Drop (Rare): Mythril

Defense/MagDef: 44/10                   Steal (Rare): N/A
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Highwayman will emit a black cloud of gas that blinds your party, and
your Hit % will decrease by about half. You can counter this by
equipping accessories that increase it before battle. The robot will
also attack you with Rampage, a Tech Skill that will do a lot of damage
if the field effect is black. Use any white elements you have, and you
should be fine.
=======================================================================

Leave this city area. On the World Map, get the AntiYellow and AntiBlue
offpath, then continue into the next area.

This area is frozen. Upon entering, get the Resistance Belt from your
right, then continue down and get the Kung-Fu Shoes as well. Go into
the lit tower on your left and examine the computer inside. Norris will
get the computer online. Get the Earring of Light from the
partially-hidden chest on the left before leaving. Near the exit, don't
miss the Stamina Ring.

Back on the World Map, get the AntiGreen and continue into the tower in
the center of the Dead Sea, the Tower of Gheddon. Get the Feather from
your right, then continue up the stairs to the third floor. Curve to
your right and get the Mythril at the end of the path. Go back down to
the second floor and continue into the glowing doorway to your right.
Talk to the ghost on the bench in the bottom corner. It leaves and
walks away. Search the area where it disappears for a Station Pass. Go
right and at the end of this path, get the Purify element. Continue
through the turnstiles and through the doorway, where you will find a
Medical Book. Go back and get the HolyLight element from the right.

Go back to the lobby and go up to the third floor. Curve right and send
the elevator to the first floor and get the Trashy Tiara. Exit through
the upper-left hole.

This area is full of Tragediennes wandering about. Although they can be
hard to defeat, they will tell you beforehand what attacks they will
use, so use this to your advantage. A ghost child runs off, indicating
the direction you should take. Get the Feather from the path on the
left of the screen. At the top of this area, get the HealAll and the
CurePlus, as well as the Prop Sword from the stage-like area. This will
be of good use to Pierre if you recruited him. Continue into the next
area.

Climb the ladder on the left, and you'll find a Mythril. Get the
SealAll from the right side of the screen, then follow the second
child. Here you'll find all the Dragoon Devas, as well as Glenn, Viper,
and Riddel. The mystery behind their disappearance should be cleared up
for you now. Be sure to get the Diminish element on the left side of
the screen, then continue into the purple vortex.

It takes you to a whole new area where the sun is setting. You can rest
in the machine to your right, and it's recommended. The three ghost
children will lead you to the final area. Before continuing, get the
Screwy Dress from the right and the HellBound element from the left.

A brilliant sunset has been frozen in time and the bell that once stood
here has fallen. Examine the plaque on the left of it to begin a long
conversation involving the children. Eventually a man named Miguel
emerges, who happens to be Leena's father. He has been the guardian of
this place, and it order to break the spell of the Dead Sea, you must
defeat him, whether you want to or not.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

You should definitely equip Lynx with a Daemon Charm, so if Miguel
casts AntiBlack, it has a chance of not working. He will cast TurnBlack
on a character, then use a TechSkill called HolyDragSwd that will
devastate anybody. When Miguel begins to use elements, use the Diminish
you got to lower the effects. When he begins to sag, finish him off
quickly or else he will cast HolyLight, an extremely powerful white
element that has a good chance of eliminating all your party members.
=======================================================================

When Miguel dies, the earth begins to shake. It seems that you have no
way to get out in time, but luckily the Sky Dragon saves you and
deposits you on Marbule. The wormhole at Opassa Beach works now, and
another one in the Home World Hydra Marshes appears. Use the Astral
Amulet here to go back to Sprigg's home in the Dimensional Vortex. Go
to Opassa Beach and cross over.

The Porre army has also taken over Viper Manor. They have bad things in
store for Riddel, so you need to rescue her. When you get inside, find
the other Norris in the parlor. You're best off putting Norris in your
party, then talk to this Norris and they will sort things out. Norris
will give you the Prison Key. Leave and find Zoah's room. Put him at
the head of your party and he will be able to open the chest, which
contains his Toss&Spike Tech Skill.

Go down into the sewers from either the back of the kitchen or in the
hallway. You will be swept downstream because the current of the water
is too strong. After you fall down into the next area, go up the
stairs. Get the Humour then tip the barrels and you will have access
to the control room. Go up the stairs and turn the valve, slowing the
current. Go into the water and down the corridor on the far right that
leads to some bars. There is a bug sitting on a treasure chest. Press
X several times to rattle the bars and scare the bug. The treasure
chest drops into the water. Come back later through the well in the
courtyard to get the Deluge element inside of it. Get the Denadorite
from the northwest corner, then go up the ladder on the north wall to
the prison.

Go up and reenter from the kitchen, not the hallway. Wade across the
water to the top area, where you'll find a Magic Seal. The amoeba
sitting next to the chest will be used for Luccia's level 7 Tech Skill
later on. Float down to the lower exit from the water flow. You will
cross a bridge. Continue to the right and through the upper path. You
will reach a valve that will open a dam below. Return to the previous
area and go under the bridge. Turn the valve to open a door on the
opposite side. Float down through the water and go up the stairs at the
top of the screen. Follow the path all the way to the right to find a
Nimble element. Cross through the channel you opened previously. Climb
up to the valve, and move the dam into its original position. Move
towards the ladder on the far side and a creature attacks you.

Lynx should have his ForeverZero Tech Skill by now, so use that on this
boss to take a large portion of HP off of it. Use Zoah's Toss&Spike if
you have it as well. The only thing about this boss that you may have
some trouble with is that it tends to evade your attacks a lot.
=======================================================================

Climb one of the three walls to get into a cell. In the left one is
Glenn, who is sleeping and won't wake up. The middle cell just contains
a guy who's really scared. The right cell is where Fargo is. He's
sleeping, but you can wake him up. He uses the Prison Key to escape and
imprison the guard. Save your game and enter the room next to the
cells, where the evil version of Orcha is just about to go to work on
Riddel. When you enter, he will get mad and attack your party.

as strong red elements. Counter these with your powerful blue elements
and level 5 and 7 Tech Skills. Try to take him out fast, because if you
give him the chance he will use his SpiceOfLife Tech and restore his
health. This battle shouldn't be too hard.
=======================================================================

=======================================================================
NEW CHARACTER - Orcha
After the battle, Orcha regains his normal personality. He feels bad
about how he was used and he joins the group.
=======================================================================

The scene changes to the lobby, where Norris will ask the party to
distract the Porre army while he escapes with Riddel. If Norris is in
your party, the other Norris will invite him back to manor later for a
gift, Norris' level 7 Tech Skill. Riddel asks you to visit Hermit's
Hideaway, where she is headed. Head for the throne room up the stairs.

Porre PVTs will surround your party and attack. Take them out and they
call a cyborg assassin to finish you off.

If you have Bushbasher or any other powerful green elements, use them
now. Although Guillot has only 1001 HP, it won't die and after the
first battle, it will continue to pursue your party into the library,
where you will have to fight it again. The Prophet of Time advises you
to escape through the stained-glass window.
=======================================================================

Guillot continues to pursue your party.

=======================================================================
NEW CHARACTER - Grobyc
Since you proved your strength to Grobyc, he will help you defeat the
Guillot. He requests to join the party.
=======================================================================

After leaving the manor, place Norris in your party and enter the manor
again. The guards will let you in. Talk to the other Norris to receive
your Norris' level 7 Tech Skill, TopShot.

Visit the room in the basement with all the traps, where you fought the
Man-O-Wars and where the Decor Shield was. If you didn't when you were
here previously, place the Decor Shield on the statue that is missing a
shield. Search the column on the far left and search for a switch. Push
the viper statue to the niche on the right wall. The secret passageway
will open up. You can now get the Viper's Venom and the Rainbow Shell
that were there before. Go back up the main stairs to the throne room
and go through the right door which has always been blocked by a
Roborg. Push the four statues into the holes and open the treasure
chest FROM BEHIND. Inside is a letter from Solt and Peppor indicating
why they took the contents. For now, leave the manor and go to Hermit's
Hideaway, where Riddel is.

Use the Garai Keepsake on the mirrors to proceed. In the final area,
before entering the lit door in the center, get the Revenge element
from the cave below by climbing down the bone ladder. Then proceed into
the final room and fight Solt and Peppor. They won't fool around this
time, and will do their best to damage you. But it's still not hard and
you should win pretty quickly. You don't receive a Star for this
battle, so it's not technically a boss battle.

Afterwards, the two apologize and give back the MementoPendant they
took. Karsh also gains his level 7 Tech Skill, Axiomatic.

HP:             1042                    Drop (Common): FreeFall
Innate: Black Drop (Rare): Resistance Ring
Attack/Magic: 71/13 Steal (Common): Daemon Charm
Defense/MagDef: 60/11                   Steal (Rare): HellBound
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

This battle won't be hard, because De-Hydrate has so little HP. It will
cast BlackHole, so if you have a trap for this powerful element, set it
now. Have Fargo steal for a Daemon Charm or a HellBound element. This
battle will be over in no time.
=======================================================================

Afterwards, you receive HydraShadow (Steena's level 5 Tech Skill). Get
the Pendragon Sigil B in the chest at the bottom of the screen, then
leave the Hydra Marshes.

=======================================================================
Guldove (Another World)
=======================================================================
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
[ Enemies ]  ORLHA (Blue)

[ Items ]    SAPPHIREBROOCH
             DRAGON EMBLEM

[ Elements ] N/A
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Back to the story. When you arrive in Guldove, the bartender named
Orlha will be fending off some Porre soldiers. When they see you, they
recognize you and ask for help. Orlha doesn't care if there are more
soldiers and fights you.

== BOSS FIGHT == Orlha ================================================
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
HP:             1800                    Drop (Common): Mythril
Innate: Blue Drop (Rare): Waist Pad
Attack/Magic:   78/20                   Steal (Common): Kung-Fu Shoes
Defense/MagDef: 49/8                    Steal (Rare): N/A
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Orlha is a strong fighter than can easily damage your party using
powerful blue elements. You're best off using level 7 Tech Skills,
Double Techs. If you want to be able to cure the Flu that you get,
allocate some x1Medicines to your grid.
=======================================================================

After the battle, Orlha doesn't believe you all the way that you're
Serge. She gives you the SapphireBrooch to be used later. Show it to
her again after you are reborn and she will join your party. Go to the
Dragon Shrine and show the Tear of Hate to Direa. She gives you the
Dragon Emblem, which allows you to get into the shrine in the Home
World. Leave and head for Opassa Beach. Change worlds.

=======================================================================
Marbule (Home World)
=======================================================================
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
[ Enemies ]  Lagoonate (Blue)
             Mantarrey (Blue)

[ Items ]    N/A

[ Elements ] N/A
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Place Fargo in your party and take your boat to the S.S. Zelbess. Speak
to the other Fargo, and your Fargo will steer the ship towards Marbule
to free the demi-humans enslaved on the ship. Nikki and the Magical
Dreamers act out a play, then play the Song of Marbule to restore the
ghosts wandering the island. Before leaving for the island, Fargo
breaks the seal of Invincible, his level 7 Tech Skill. Board the boat
and you'll automatically appear at Marbule. Defeat all the wandering
Lagoonates on the outside area, then continue into the cave in the
back, where you will find more Lagoonates who fight in battle with
Mantarreys. After defeating all the enemies, you hear a loud roar,
which means that the Black Dragon in Another World has finally woken,
enabling you to fight it for the relic it gives you.

=======================================================================
NEW CHARACTER - Miki
The Magical Dreamers' dancer Miki can join your party at this point.
Return to the S.S. Zelbess and find her in the dining room. She has
become bored and wants to travel with you.
=======================================================================

=======================================================================
DEFEATING THE 6 DRAGON GODS
=======================================================================
In order to get into the Sea of Eden, you must seek out and defeat the
6 Dragon Gods in both worlds. The walkthrough for this is categorized
by the world, so you can get everything done in one world and just stay
in the next one instead of moving back and forth. It's not completely
necessary for you to follow the order, but it's more convenient. Just
remember one thing: the Sky Dragon is last.

=======================================================================
Guldove (Home World)
=======================================================================
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
[ Enemies ]  N/A

[ Items ]    N/A

[ Elements ] N/A
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Visit the Home World version of Guldove and use the Dragon Emblem at
the shrines to get inside. In this world, Direa has passed away, and
Steena has taken her place. She explains your quest to you. Come back
here after acquiring all six relics and she will give you the Dragon
Tear. In the upcoming battles, place Fargo in your party so he can
steal Plates from each of the dragons (thanks to the CC official
strategy guide for this). Head for Water Dragon Isle, where you'll
find your first dragon to fight.

=======================================================================
Water Dragon Isle (Home World) THE WATER DRAGON
=======================================================================
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
[ Enemies ]  Lagoonate (Blue)
             Mantarrey (Blue)
             Sidesteppa (Blue)
             WATER DRAGON (Blue)

[ Items ]    BLUE RELIC

[ Elements ] *BlueWhale
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Fight your way through all the Lagoonates on the inside, then on the
bottom, kill the Sidesteppa blocking your way. These things are big,
but they're easy to defeat. Continue into the last cavern, where you
meet the Water Dragon again.

== BOSS FIGHT == Water Dragon =========================================
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
HP:             2800                    Drop (Common): *BlueWhale
Innate:         Blue                    Drop (Rare): N/A
Attack/Magic: 84/15 Steal (Common): Blue Plate
Defense/MagDef: 50/11                   Steal (Rare): N/A
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Dragon casts blue elements often that will give you the Flu, so
allocate x1Medicines so you can keep your stamina recovering properly.
Counter his attacks with red elements and your strongest Tech Skills.
If you took my suggestion above and put Fargo in your party, steal a
Blue Plate from the Water Dragon after you've caused a few thousand HP
damage but before he sags.
=======================================================================

After the battle, you get the Blue Relic. On to your next destination.

=======================================================================
Earth Dragon Isle (Home World) THE EARTH DRAGON
=======================================================================
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
[ Enemies ]  Rockroach (Yellow)
             YellowBelly (Yellow)
             EARTH DRAGON (Yellow)

[ Items ]    EXPLOSIVE
             Denadorite (x2)
             YELLOW RELIC

[ Elements ] *ThundaSnake
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

You should have visited here previously and gone down into the
quicksand. If you did so, the workers have moved the creature that was
blocking your path earlier. If you didn't, you'll have to come back
later, maybe after finishing off another dragon. Talk to the man near
the area where the creature was to get an Explosive. When you enter
this chamber, get the Denadorite on your left, then set the Explosive
under the Rockroach to your right. It will be blown down and it will
cover up the sand boil. Go down the ladder. Talk to the man standing on
the left and he will explain his theory about the sand boils to you.
There is a Rockroach walking around here. Wait until it's near the
edge, then fight it. After the battle, push it down onto the sand boil.
Get the Denadorite on the path going right, then go down the ladder.
There is another Rockroach here. Kill it and push it into the hole.
This causes sand to rise from the central boil. Walk near it and press
X to jump into it. This propels your group to a ledge you weren't able
to reach. Follow it to reach the final chamber where the Earth Dragon
resides. Equip green elements, save, then proceed to the sand where he
will confront you.

== BOSS FIGHT == Earth Dragon =========================================
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
HP:             3100                    Drop (Common): *ThundaSnake
Innate:         Yellow                  Drop (Rare): N/A
Attack/Magic: 86/18 Steal (Common): Yellow Plate
Defense/MagDef: 70/11                   Steal (Rare): N/A
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

First thing, have Fargo steal the Yellow Plate. Use all your Tech
Skills and powerful green elements. If you happen to have a Trap
element for Earthquake, set it now because it will do big damage to
your party members if you don't do something. Keep a steady pace.
=======================================================================

After the battle, you get the Yellow Relic. Head for Hydra Marshes to
get transportation to the inaccessible Gaea's Navel, where the Green
Dragon is.

=======================================================================
Hydra Marshes (Home World) THE GREEN DRAGON
=======================================================================
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
[ Enemies ]  Beeba (Yellow)

[ Items ]    N/A

[ Elements ] N/A
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Proceed left to the stalks again. Near the Record of Fate, a Beeba will
attack you. After the battle, if you didn't get the Ancient Fruit, you
will receive it. Save your game. Another Beeba waiting on the right in
the next screen will explain how to use the Ancient Fruit and Beeba
Flute. Use the Beeba Flute. The Wingapede comes, takes the Ancient
Fruit, and takes your party to Gaea's Navel from above.

=======================================================================
Gaea's Navel (Home World) THE GREEN DRAGON
=======================================================================

             Pterodact (Red)
             Prehysteric (Yellow)
             TYRANO (Red)
             GREEN DRAGON (Green)

[ Items ]    Green Brooch
             Denadorite (x7)
             GREEN RELIC

[ Elements ] *Genie
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

You are dropped off in a small clearing.

=======================================================================
NEW CHARACTER - Leah
A little cavegirl named Leah approaches your party and automatically
joins. For a good advantage against the enemies here, put her in your
party.
=======================================================================

The only bad thing about the quest for the Green Dragon's blessing is
that you have to get rid of all the enemies here before you can
continue and fight the Water Dragon. Follow these steps to continue:

1) Go to your right and around onto the higher ledge. Get the
    Denadorite and kill the PreyMantis.
2) Climb up to the ledge where Leah was and take the Green Brooch. A
    Pterodact fights you.
3) Kill the last enemy in this screen and climb up the tree on the
    right. Continue to the next screen.
4) Kill the Prehysteric walking along, then climb down. Walk over to
    the tree. Climb up and get the Denadorite. Another Pterodact will
    attack you.
5) Go down, then down the path to your right. Go down using the
    ladder-like thing, then get the Denadorite. Kill the PreyMantis
    walking around.
6) Take out any remaining enemies and move on. Climb back up and move
    right.
7) Defeat the Prehysteric, then get the Denadorite. Go back, then go
    down and continue on.
7) Kill the PreyMantis running back and forth, then get the Denadorite
    in the shadows at the end of this path.
8) Go up the ladder you ran past, and go around the tree on your right.
    Get the Denadorite. Now go up the tree on the left, and at the end
    you'll find another Denadorite, but a Pterodact will attack you.
9) Take out any remaining enemies in this screen, then save your game
    at the Record of Fate and go back to the first screen.
10) If you killed all the enemies, a large dinosaur will attack you.

== BOSS FIGHT == Tyrano ===============================================
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
HP: 1600 Drop (Common): Resistance Ring
Innate:         Red                     Drop (Rare): N/A
Attack/Magic: 80/15 Steal (Common): Power Seal
Defense/MagDef: 55/20 Steal (Rare): Gold Earring
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tyrano is also accompanied by a Pterodact, but you shouldn't pay much
mind to it. There's not much to this battle, just use strong blue
elements like Deluge.
=======================================================================

After this battle, Leah hears a roar and runs off. The party will
automatically follow. The Green Dragon is here and he wants to eat you.

== BOSS FIGHT == Green Dragon =========================================
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
HP:             3700                    Drop (Common): *Genie
Innate:         Green                   Drop (Rare): N/A
Attack/Magic: 81/20 Steal (Common): Green Plate
Defense/MagDef: 52/12                   Steal (Rare): N/A
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

This guy is ugly. Have Fargo steal the Green Plate at the beginning of
the battle. If you have a Carnivore trap element, set it because the
Green Dragon will cast it a lot. The Dragon also has two breath
attacks. One will poison you, while the other will damage. Try to keep
the field effect from turning all green, because this is when the
attacks will cause the most damage.
=======================================================================

After the battle, he disappears and you receive the Green Relic.
Continue back to the clearing and use the Beeba Flute. Wingapede will
come and take you back to the Hydra Marshes. It takes your Ancient
Fruit, so if you ever want to return, you'll have to ask the Beeba for
another. Go to Opassa Beach and cross worlds.

=======================================================================
Mount Pyre (Another World) THE FIRE DRAGON
=======================================================================
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
[ Enemies ]  Lava-Boy (Red)
             Hotdiggity (Red)
             FIRE DRAGON (Red)

[ Items ]    Pendragon Sigil A
             Poultice Cap
             RED RELIC

[ Elements ] *Salamander
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Take your boat to the shore of Mount Pyre. When you get to the area
where you fought Solt and Peppor, go right. If you haven't previously,
freeze the magma. Slide down on the left and go to the ground where you
found a MagmaBomb earlier. A new cave has opened up, so go through it.
You emerge in a new area. If you have the health, walk up the magma
flow and get the Pendragon Sigil A, as well as the Poultice Cap from
the back. Then back down the magma to freeze it, since you can't do it
from the top (unfortunately). Continue on, passing the HotDiggitys to
the cavern where the Fire Dragon resides.

== BOSS FIGHT == Fire Dragon ==========================================
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
HP:             3400                    Drop (Common): *Salamander
Innate:         Red                     Drop (Rare): N/A
Attack/Magic: 93/22 Steal (Common): Red Plate
Defense/MagDef: 55/14                   Steal (Rare): N/A
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

You should start out just physically attacking and using Tech Skills.
After a while, when the Fire Dragon has taken a certain amount of
damage, he will transform into a larger, deadlier form. Right away,
have Fargo steal the Red Plate. Launch your powerful blue elements.
You should have completed the Marbule sidequest before going on the
quest to defeat the Dragon Gods, and Fargo should have gotten his
Invincible Tech Skill. Use that now to do big damage. Also, summon
FrogPrince.
=======================================================================

After the battle, the Fire Dragon gives you his "pet salamander" as
well as the Red Relic. Time to face the next dragon. Head for Marbule.

=======================================================================
Marbule (Another World) THE BLACK DRAGON
=======================================================================
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
[ Enemies ] BLACK DRAGON (Black)

[ Items ] Valencian Cloth Frame
             BLACK RELIC

[ Elements ] *GrimReaper
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you have an all non-human party, the creature standing near the
entrance will give you a Valencian Cloth Frame as a welcome gift.
Proceed to the back cave, past the Sage's. The Black Dragon has finally
awoken, and he wants the exercise of fighting you.

== BOSS FIGHT == Black Dragon =========================================
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
HP:             3900                    Drop (Common): *GrimReaper
Innate:         Black                   Drop (Rare): N/A
Attack/Magic: 96/20 Steal (Common): Black Plate
Defense/MagDef: 70/15                   Steal (Rare): N/A
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

This battle will be much harder than the rest. After a few turns, have
Fargo steal the Black Plate. This plate is more important than the rest
because you will need it in upcoming battles. Set a trap for FreeFall,
because the Black Dragon will definitely use it sometime in the battle.
Keep your health up by using elements that recover health of all party
members. Use HolyLight if you have it, as well as PhotonBeam.
=======================================================================

Afterwards, you receive the Black Relic. Now all you have to do is face
the final dragon to gain entrance to the Sea of Eden.

=======================================================================
Sky Dragon Isle (Another World) THE SKY DRAGON
=======================================================================
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
[ Enemies ] SKY DRAGON (White)

[ Items ]    WHITE RELIC

[ Elements ] *Saints
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you have all of the other five Relics, proceed up the stairs. In
this area, the Sky Dragon is waiting for you. Equip powerful elements,
then talk to it to begin the battle.

== BOSS FIGHT == Sky Dragon ===========================================
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
HP:             3800                    Drop (Common): *Saints
Innate:         White                   Drop (Rare): N/A
Attack/Magic: 97/20 Steal (Common): White Plate
Defense/MagDef: 61/15                   Steal (Rare): N/A
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Counter the Sky Dragon's Magnify with a Diminish if you have it. The
dragon seems to like to attack Lynx. Designate one of the other two
characters to healing Lynx. Power up to level 7, then execute
ForeverZero. When the Dragon uses NullState, have Fargo steal the White
Plate. When he begins to sag, finish the battle quickly or else you
might be killed by UltraNova. If you have a trap for this attack, set
it and you won't need to worry.
=======================================================================

After the battle, you get the White Relic. Take your boat back to
Opassa Beach, and cross worlds.

=======================================================================

[ Elements ] N/A
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Visit the Dragon Shrine.

=======================================================================
NEW CHARACTER - Steena
Steena will automatically join your party if you've collected the six
dragon relics. If you're looking for information on places, put her in
your party when traveling.
=======================================================================

When you've chosen your party, put Riddel in your party and head for
the island north of Mount Pyre that has smoke coming from it. You're
about to go on a short sidequest for an extremely powerful weapon.

=======================================================================
Forbidden Island (Home World)
=======================================================================
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
[ Enemies ]  DARIO (Black)

[ Items ]    Mastermune

[ Elements ] N/A
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Put Riddel in your party. You should have the MementoPendant that you
received at the Isle of the Damned. You'll need it here. Equip Riddel
with the Black Plate you stole from the Black Dragon. When you land on
the island, open the door on the hut (you must have Riddel in your
party). Dario is in here, and Riddel instantly recognizes him. He has
suffered amnesia, but she talks about old memories. However, the
Masamune appears and Dario takes it and attacks you.

== BOSS FIGHT == Dario ================================================
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
HP: 3500 Drop (Common): PendragonSigil A
Innate:         Black                   Drop (Rare): N/A
Attack/Magic:   130/37                  Steal (Common): x1Nostrum
Defense/MagDef: 130/60                  Steal (Rare): N/A
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dario has the ability to kill you, and fast. Using Black versions of
Glenn's Tech Skills, he will pummel your party until you die. But if
you equipped Riddel with the Black Plate, this will be an easy fight.
He targets his attacks on her first, and will continue to attack until
she is dead. Dario attacks in a pattern: first he physically attacks
the person, then he uses Dash&Gash, followed by another physical, then
SonicSword. Using the Black Plate, Riddel will be harmed by the
physical attacks, but the next Tech Skills will heal her. Just don't
have any other characters use attack elements, and just attack
normally. The battle should be over in no time, since Dario just
continues to assault Riddel.
=======================================================================

After the battle, the Masamune transforms into the Mastermune, which
Lynx gets to have. Equip this, and he will easily become your best
fighter. It hits for almost double the damage each turn.

You are taken back to Viper Manor, where Dario questions the
whereabouts of the others. (Remember, in this world, Viper Manor was
destroyed and Viper and his men died in the Dead Sea.) He plans to head
up the rebuilding of the manor. He gives Riddel her level 7 Tech Skill,
SnakeFangs. Leave the manor and get into your boat, which is north of
Termina. Head for Fort Dragonia to get Serge back!

=======================================================================
Mount Pyre (Home World)
=======================================================================
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
[ Enemies ]  Lava-boy (Red)

             Denadorite

[ Elements ] Inferno
             Weaken
             Strengthen
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

The enemies here are more difficult to defeat, but you shouldn't have
much problem. Continue up the left path, then go right to the magma
"waterfalls". Freeze the magma, then slide down the one in front. Go
through the cave to the new area. If you have the HP, walk up the magma
and onto the land where you will find a Red Brooch.

Continue into the chamber where the Fire Dragon was in Another World
and continue past all the running Hotdiggitys to the other side of the
walkway, where you will find the Inferno, Weaken, and Strengthen
elements. Leave and slide down the ice to the beginning. Continue on,
this time going straight. In the next screen, freeze the magma. Get
the Mythril from the right and the Denadorite up the stairs. Continue
until you reach Fort Dragonia.

=======================================================================
Fort Dragonia (Home World)
=======================================================================
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
[ Enemies ] DARK SERGE (Black)

[ Items ]    Mythril
             Denadorite (x5)
             Red Brooch
             TEAR OF LOVE

[ Elements ] Inferno
             Weaken
             Strengthen
             ThundaStorm
             Iceberg
             x1Nostrum (x30)
             Tornado
             Volcano
             AntiBlack
             AntiWhite
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Steena will appear and tell you what to do. Place the Dragon Tear in
the pedestal and all the crystals are deactivated automatically. You
still need to get the items scattered about though, so do so before
entering the central elevator, where Lynx/Serge awaits you.

Go through the right door. When you get to the room with the dragon
statue, go into the bottom gap, where you will find 10 x1Nostrums, as
well as a Denadorite and a Volcano element. Leave this area.

Go through the next door, going counter-clockwise. Go straight and down
the stairs on your left. Go through the arch, as well as the adjacent
one. Get the Nostrums, and the Denadorite. Go back and go up the
staircase. Follow it to find a chest containing 5 more Nostrums.
Backtrack to the beginning of this area and go up the stairs on your
left. Keep going and in the screen with the spiraling path, get the
Tornado and go up the stairs at the top of the screen. In this area,
go down the stairs to get a Denadorite. Now you can leave this area.

In the next area, open the chests so that the path leads to the right
room, above the crystal room. Get the Iceberg element in here and
leave.

Go into the final door. Use the strategy found in the other Fort
Dragonia (scroll way up) to get the ThundaStorm and Denadorite in the
chests. Now leave, save your game, and enter the central silo where you
will find Dark Serge.

You may not notice it, but there is a glitch in this battle: no matter
what you named the main character in the beginning, the name of this
boss will always be Dark Serge. Not that big of a deal, but it's kinda
funny.

Put the Black Plate on a character. Evenly allocate white elements to
all your characters. If Dark Serge manages to cast AntiWhite, it will
only be on one character, so you won't need to worry. He uses the same
Tech Skills as Lynx, and will attack you with powerful elements like
Volcano, Iceberg, and ULTRANOVA! This attack will devastate your party,
so if you have the White Plate, equip that on someone too.

After the battle, Dark Serge disappears. You're not changed back...
yet.

NEW CHARACTER - Draggy
Take the elevator down, where there is an incubator that works.
Remember the Big Egg you stole from Fossil Valley at the beginning of
the game? Place that here, and it will crack open. A dragon named
Draggy will come out. He asks where his siblings are and wonders if
Lynx is his mother. He joins your party.
=======================================================================

Take the elevator up. Go right and continue. Go right at the fork and
down. Get the Nostrums, and go up the staircase. Continue outside and
go up the stairs. In the next door, go down the stairs in front of you
to go back outside. Go left for an AntiBlack, and go left and through
the door for more Nostrums. Go back and continue on. Before going up
the last staircase, keep going and get the AntiWhite from the chest.
When you're ready, warp up to the top of the fort. When you're trying
to enter the door, Steena appears and explains that Lynx/Serge needs to
continue alone.

Inside, examine the pedestal and you will place the Dragon Tear there.
The room will light up, and you will learn about the history of the
planet and the appearance of a being called Lavos. After an FMV, the
Tear shatters and Serge appears as his old self. The Dragon Tear has
been destroyed, but it turns into the Tear of Love. Serge walks out and
the other party members get surprised. Allocate elements to him as soon
as possible (his grid is now empty). At this point you can leave the
fort and head to your next destination: the Dead Sea Ruins.

Pilot your boat up to the entrance to the Dead Sea. Press X and you
will go inside. There's nothing much in here except for three glowing
circles called Fate Distortions. Go up to one and examine it. A glowing
beam of light appears.
