This picture was taken at 3am, technically March 31, 2002.  I was replacing the dipstick tube and when removing the old one, it broke at the bottom, still stuck in the engine.  I worked until 8am trying to get the 1" piece out of the block.  At 8:00, I called Randy Atkins for technical advice.  After trying everything I knew for 5 hours, Randy told me to use a flathead screwdriver, tap it (gently) into the broken piece and twist.  It took 30 seconds to get it out.  Friends are wonderful, aren't they ???
