If you've been perusing this site at all that much then you'll have noticed the trend for pages that start with the letter M in the "Ship" navigation bar. This is because this site is the compliation of two different sites I ran, now defunct, but a much more coherent version with it's own stuff as well. On the original site, I was being random and decided that M was the official letter for the site--and therefore tried to name as many things as possible with M-words.
I do this to my blog as well, cycyling thru different letters. The current one is V, on account of V for Vendetta changing my life.
As the title "Misadventures" hardly denotes what one might find on a page called as such, I have no guidance as to what I should put on this page. Therefore I shall stumble as a drunken monkey, hiding in the pinata with the candy and hoping the kids don't break thru with the stick.
On the old site, the ship, I had my original works put up on it, as well as the promise of fanfiction forthcoming. That promise was not fulfilled, because I frankly suck at writing fanfic. I've written one good piece, to be found at the Pit of Voles. It was an English assignment and I'm quite proud of it.
The rest of my original works range from poetry to prose--I have a book of poetry published already. I enjoy writing and challenging my perceptions, traits that should hold me in good stead in my career of choice, film.
But, I digress. Aside from being an avid supporter and participant in the arts, I am a political activist and so have the Pledge of Resistance here to make the wheels turn a bit. It was written by the folks at The Not In Our Name Project.
